I actually use these and I had a problem with the caps as well. My simple solution was to make very small holes in them then add string. It works like a charm with glue added.
Stop asking like newbs why this is useful, the answer is simple.
Firstly when you are on a forrest and you seek for someone a good idea is to plant those things,so when he hits one you get notified, plus if you add poison gas,it can be lethal.
hahaha just ordered the powder mine (the one thats yellow in the video). Got that instead of the water one so my friends wouldn't get water on there electric guns
A little tip for those PB4 clones is to use cotton balls to plug the end, and the sporting goods brand .12 BBs. Cotton balls will hold them in well, and .12s get a better range, and cost a lot less when used en masse like that.
By the way, if you take your foot off really slowly, will the mine still explode? I can imagine people learning quickly how to avoid it if that's the case - the main reason I want to buy it is because I'd want the "oh shit I can't move my foot!" feel.
GREAT VIDEO! There's also a vid showing the S-Thunder landmines used in a scenario/skirmish game at YouTube's "OddysAirsoft" channel. S-Thunder is making moves as I saw TechPB's YouTube channel "paintballtechpb" do a box opening video for an upcoming review of S-Thunder's Mil-Sim product line. I use their stuff & am happy as I play paintball scenario and the land mines really add a "surprise" element. The launchers are really durable as I have not popped any o-rings and they are LOUD.
@reptiboy **SOME*** gas magazines can handle CO2, however 95% of them cannot. they will either bow out an O-ring, the trigger spring will not be strong enough to release any gas, or the mag will just explode. Hypothetically, you could regulate the co2 adapter to be about 250psi and put that in your mag, however, because there is no liquid co2 in that volume of gas, you would likely only get about 3 shots before there was no more pressure in the magazine. So the answer to your question is: no.
@reptiboy just as a comparison, the Ponds per square inch (PSI) of pressure of propane is around 200psi, the psi of CO2 is over 800PSI. this means that there is over 4 times the potential energy that a container must store and safely contain in order to hold CO2. so be careful what you put it in.
@reptiboy Just email sales(@)evike. com as I was at their store and they said they had stock. You can also contact sales(@)ontargetairsoft. com as they should have stock available too.
your gear and gun will be 1000000% fine if they get a little wet or powder gets on them. only if you somehow managed to get water and powder all mixed up directly into your hop chamber at the same time would you have a problem. its highly improbable.
@bloodfartification well water, is just water. I've played in down-pouring rain, and as long as you dry your stuff out afterwards, everything will be fine.
the powder all depends on what is used for powder. I was using baby powder, which can br brushed off with your hands, or washed off with just some water, or can be thrown in a washing machine.
@imeatinpoo Try s-thunder. com or ontargetairsoft. com. My favorite is the M203 grenade with the CO2 core and the step and release landmine. What they don't tell you is that the mine can spray coloured water or smoke powder.
Lol, the S-Thunder step and release mine needs some force behind it, and the size sort of turns me off. I agree though, the water mine is just awesome. The fact that you get both a visual, physical, and a responsive boom makes it feel a lot more like an explosive. There is no denying getting hit by it, lol.

@jakoplant1 thats why everyone should shoot GBBRs :P
unless you play paintball in which case no decent high level marker wouldnt care, they get used in torrential rain all the time.

Did you use green gas or Co2 in the "shocker" test and the foam ball launcher shell

Would the CO2 regulator work with regular green gas type pistols? (ie, could one use this in place of green gas)
