  • inferior??? I would like to see you take a corner at 90 with a knee down on that 250. I ride a gixxer 1000 and I would leave that little 250 in the twisties any day

  • I want Motorcycle lanes in England please =/ retard drivers ignore us.

  • Hi, I'm Richard Branston

  • This may be true over there, but here in the USA everyone finds themselves wanting more after a while. Glad my first bike is the 650 it still satisfies my needs :)

  • big ass noob! lol

  • damn, they have bike routes thats cool

  • favorite part. "your hayabusa is inferior to this one because your just a big ass noob"

  • M13 im gunna get one of these as my second bike (I will be restricted to 33bhp here in england) Do you recommend I break it in first or just redline and have fun straight away?

  • how does a honda compare? for example vtr250 or even the new cbr250

  • 00:21 woman driver shit!

  • Why was that toaster following you?

  • Carb or EFI for the 250r in there in Taiwan?

  • Truth based on truth.

  • still getting a 600 for my first bike :P

  • What's Your Opinion On This Vs The CBR250r?

  • the more money you spend on a bike the worse it handles?!

well you better go tell the moto gp boys then so they can chop in there 1million pound rcv's etc for a ninja 250 :/

  • That road you go down at 4:40 is that for motorbikes and scooters only? i wish we had that in Brisbane

  • you dont honk anybody at all???

  • The 2011 250r weighs 152kg and has 23.5hp max. The power to weight ratio is quite mean really, plus some mods you can bump up the hp a lot.

It needs a bit more torque than what it's got really and the gear ratio's are silly.

But yeah, so easy to ride, gives you a lot of control compared to bigger bikes.

    It is a fun bike.

  • @Kaemajii not more than 23.5 hp? my 125cc nsr is like 26-28 hp ..

  • @Kjetilaf What year is it? is it modified? I looked up the spec's for the 2003 nsr and it says max hp from stock is 15hp?

  • @Kaemajii en*wikipedia*org/wiki/Honda_NSR125

when it stock it is restricted. derestricted will get about 30hp. this is also different from country to country. * = .

  • @Kjetilaf That wiki says horse power from the crank on the nsr, mines taken from the wheel.

  • @Kaemajii waaait, gonna find another one :p but derestricted u get aprox 30 on the wheel! tested mine on dyno .

  • @Kjetilaf While you're at it then look one up for a derestriced 250r :P

Also, the new ninja's have 2hp less than the previous models, but because they're upgraded how the engine works, they are still wildly faster than the old models. Horsepower isn't everything :3

  • @Kaemajii yes, i know :p much more torque. but still : horsepower is the easiest way to compare :p

  • My first bike a moped and still is so yeh :L

  • Ive wanted the 250r for so long, i hope i can get it within the next 2 years.

  • @squatchmaster5000 look on craigslist you can probably find one for 1000 dollars

  • THE HAYABUSA WOULD GET TO THE CORNER FIRST AND IT WOULD MAKE UP FOR IT

  • @DismalDude what if the road is smaller? More bendy? The power would be pointless.. Have fun on ur hayabusa -.-

  • @DismalDude straightline speed in the city is useless, too much going on around you especially in taiwan and that, no one gives a shit about motorcyclists on the road as it is, like earlier in the video, the woman running the red light, if your speeding like crazy and she pulls infront of you, say your prayers.

Straightline speed is a yawn anyway, corners is where the adreniline pumps :3

  • so... do you recommend this bike to a complete noob with zero experience? :-) ill probably pay for driving lessons on a 125cc but i would use this one everyday. Is there much difference in handling a 125 compared to a 250?

  • @IALON look at honda rebels or something similar im also new to riding i got a ke250 and i love it

  • i love the ninja 250 and dont own one yet. one of the things i liked about this vlog is that the first superior bike that come to you mind was the gsxr, again another bike that i love...

  • the bigger they are the harder it is to weave thru traffic. Hayabusa yes is the most fastest bike but only on highway while in city roads they can't achieve the top speed. So you are right, smaller bikes are in a sense better than a bigger bike if ur comparing on a city road. A 150-250cc should be good on those roads, still good in pickup on slow moving traffic and good in cornering

  • My first bike was a 250cc and its great to learn on but stateside they are really terrible. I live in Georgia and the only way to get around is the highway and on something that has maybe a top speed of 80 mph it really does not help.

  • just so you know... i touched you down there...

  • You don't know shit about handling, the cheaper the more curves it does then? Fuck off!

  • IN TAIWAN ?

  • @753boom

    yes

    in taiwan =)

  • Great video what camera did you use and how did you get the sound nice do u hav a mic in ur helmet? But yeah wonderful video!

  • try philippines sir, youll see 5 people in a 2 seater motorcycle

    hahaha

  • start kickin mirrors! ahaahaha

  • *Backtracks to 7:19 to check out the girls*

  • That's just fucked why do so many people run red lights in Taiwan? I know you've gone on about this many times before it's only just hit me how totally stupid those people are. You can just make out the look on that woman's face its just so casual.

  • this bike + the new abs system godlike!

  • wow, a lot of scooters

  • where are you!? ive never seen so many bikes on the road before. in like one of the 20 people in my whole city who rides a bike.

  • dont you ever talk about the gsxr1000....ever

  • wow!! scooters country!!!!!!

  • wtf did he say between 00:00 - 00:10

  • Finally did it, got my A3 license, i practiced on a VF400. Four weeks ago was the first time i ever got on a big bike, did a few laps of a parking area, tried to do an uphill take off while cornering to the left and i fell like a brick(ask me how i skinned both my knees :D ). Proved M13's point tho, caus i was considering getting a '99 CBR 600f. Point is, yes now i can ride any bike i want but i'm only a mediocre rider on a tuned down practice 400 - am i going to improve on a 600 racebike ? :D

  • The movie let me dizzy...

  • Comment removed

  • Great review. You make a lot of sense. I wouldn't need the power… this is probably a good bike for me to start with.

  • So Ducati 848 EVO isn't a good idea? Awww mann! 15K out the window. Shit.

  • HAHAHA its a woman!

  • 44 people are noobs.

  • youre not supposed to rev your engine before you shut it off. It fills the cylinders with raw fuel that is unburnt because you shut it off. the fuel then washes the oil off your cylinders and the next time you start your bike, theres less oil on your cylinders which leads to more engine wear.

  • why is the high light on?

  • 4000

  • cost?

  • There is so many scooters

  • women...

  • where u in singapore?

  • @IcePickSnowmanzzzz

    Taiwan...

  • i hate stupid bitch drivers...i mean all respect to women not to be disrespectful its these dumb bimbos who r probably gonna be the death of a lotta ryderz

  • busas are tanks of course it will out corner it. busa, read drag bike. They are not a race replica type bike. I wouldnt say it handles better than any other bike I would say its more flickable. Ride a busa at 120 mph then ride that bike at 120 mph tell me which one handles that scenario better :) but I know exactly what your saying no need to explain you mean corners better, well by that same theory a 10 speed out corners a 250r but which would you rather ride?

  • Man your traffic laws must be a riot to deal with.

  • fuck you mormon commercial!

  • Women cant drive that's a commandment.

  • Did this 250 have a stock exhaust on it? It sounded pretty decent.

  • who u live????

  • the lights is bright because you got your high beam on, the big blue light on the right side of dash was on.. maybe im wrong tho lol

  • you remind me of another guy on youtube, blinkycab who rides the same bike as you and does videos while riding to, nice video!

  • I respect M13 alot and Im going to start on a 250 Ninja and have all kinds of fun :]. Then comes the r6.

  • "It's a woman" XDLMAO

  • the car can be cheap and fun too! caterham r500 is quick, cheapish and light and fun =D

  • @TheARMAProductions That's one thing I'm worried about. I'm doing my motorcycle training at the moment on a Honda CG125, and I went on a dual carriageway and hit about 65mph (in fairly strong winds and rain), and I was fighting just to stay in my lane. At points it felt like I was going to take off. It was bloody terrifying (but strangely great fun too.) I will be travelling from Exeter to Newcastle a lot on the motorways after I get my licence and bike, and I'd rather not experience that again.

  • @Harmonyww i can relate! though i didn't have the rain like you did, i did face fairly strong wind (well, it certainly felt like a strong wind since it was my first time on a bike on the open road) and it was a bit unsettling.

going for another run tomorrow on the VanVan and the forecast apparently is for rain. very very nervous! i hope there won't be much traffic out since it's Sunday.

  • @Agnelum1 How did it go? We've had heavy rain here almost all day. It's not the kind of weather I'd want to be riding in, especially on a dual carriageway!

  • @Harmonyww had a blast, mate!! it was really really good. the rain did come down but not in buckets like i'd thought. and it wasn't continuous; it would rain, bit of sun (and get really muggy so i was glad i didn't have the hoodie on under the leathers!), then get overcast and look like it'll be bad again, shower, clear up... etc the whole day.

but the ride was good, not too heavy traffic-wise.

  • What is the black and red bike that you ride when doing motorcycle riding tutorials?

  • The Ninja 250 is actually quite expensive (at least here in the UK.) I'm probably getting an SV650S for my first bike, as I can get it restricted and it costs around £1000 less than a Ninja 250.

  • @Harmonyww forgot to co-sign this comment too... the ninja is quite expensive here (brand new) and i don't know about the re-sale value... but it was cheaper for me to get a bandit 650 (2009) with 197 miles on it (practically mint condition) or even a gsx650f with 4000 miles on it, than to get a ninja250.

  • living on a rock in hawaii. top speed of 200mph gets you nowhere. haha. ninja 250 is great when riding in the back roads where there are tight turns and barely any traffic passing by. =]

  • Can you run that on the freeway all day?

  • @deezynar yes, ive done it on mine many times.

  • @voic3z

    Thanks. I appreciate the reply.

  • Where is that city at? or where are you at?

  • @MSTRKRFT915 hes in taiwan

  • I am planing on a 2009 250cc Ninja. I have to say its a great bike. I have also had past experience on a smaller bike 200cc Kawasaki dirt bike and I had a blast with it (I rode this bike for about a year I believe). Since I learned with a smaller one. I was able to jump on my friends 250 ninja and just take off with out a problem in the world and it is true its a cool bike.

  • i don't fucking understand how ANYONE would EVER think its okay to pull that oncoming lane shit...i mean seriously?

  • 0:19 *Pauses* "It's a woman 0_o" HAHAHA This had me crackin up!

  • anyone whos driven both, the honda cbr 250r and the ninja 250r? would love to hear a comparison!

  • Haha, Busa's are garbage, they'll go fast in a straight line, but not much else. A very experienced rider on a ZX-10R is much more impressive! :) I want a ninja 250 so bad :D

  • yea well, some people complain .. that they are too big for the bike.

well, buy a 600 ccm bike .. block it on 25 kW.(dunno 30hp or something) and that's it .. and when you think you're ready (after probaly 2 years of experience) you unblock it, and go easy in the beggining and then you find yourself pushing it to the limit and having fun .. that's all about riding a motorbike ;)

  • Dude this is a good bike ok and im gonne probably buy one ... but ... a ducati 848 evo for example is way better and its not just about power bro you know that...

  • this bangcok just asking ?

  • "the more you spend on a motorcycle the worst is corners"?? what?? ok some of the stuff you said ill agree but some of the stuff you said is just nonsense......... I have 929 and it corners like a muther fucker ill smoke that 250 in any corner.....oh by the way i use to own the bike your riding in the video so i know what im talking about ......

  • the fact that your in asia explains the dumb bitch driving on the wrong side of the road

  • i live in the suburbs where i'm not forced to drive by weaving in and out of traffic every two seconds. The roads are longer. This explains why i'd want a more powerful bike yes? and not care about handeling as much. Ninja in the city would be great. But don't call people dumb for getting fast bikes. It's a different sub culture bro. Why would anyone buy a touring bike if they used it too commute in the city? makes no sense. If they lived down south itd be different. Peace.

  • im currently 15 and will be getting my permit in a couple months i am about 6 foot and way bout 200 should i get a 250 or a 600 no matter what its goin to be a ninja

  • @loserman2014 If you don't have any dirtbike experience then a 250. If you do get a 500 or 650. A 600 is a different animal. It is basically a race bike with turn signals and license plate bracket.

  • @loserman2014 A ZX-6R is capable of 0-60 in a little over 3 seconds and 0-100 in a little over 6 seconds and a 1/4 mile in under 11 seconds.

  • where do you live there's more motorcycles then cars lol it's like one of those groups you randomly see

  • my first bike was a hayabusa and its tears up little ninjas

  • my first bike was a hayabusa and its tears up little ninjas

  • who let that asian chick out of the kitchen? :O

  • omg how they have motorcycle roads !

  • @Mafia10J Those are some really good suggestions, thanks for the reply!

  • @Mafia10J But I don't know anyone nor do I really know anything about bikes. How can I tell if I'm buying a problem bike or not though?

  • This was epic :3

    I now need a newbcycle.

  • I'm 6'4" and 246lbs. I'm thinkin about getting the ninja 250 but not sure if it will handle the highway very well for my size. I do a lot of highway riding and need somethin that will allow meto keep up and pass cars easly..I've been told to get the ninja 650.. wat do u think?

  • He man?

How you record this and also record your voice?

  • "It's a woman." Hahaha!

  • So you complain about some idiot turning from your lane...Look at YOU...cross over a double yellow and in and out of traffic.....THE reason people hate bikes.

  • You're a brave man, M13. I went to Taiwan to visit some family a month back. People there drive like mad men! It's scary as hell, it's like there are no rules. I can't imagine driving a car there, let alone a motorcycle.

Anyways, I'm looking to buy my first bike, a 250r. Preferably a 08 model. Do you recommend to buy used or new?

  • Annnnd this convinced me to get this bike as my first bike as opposed to a R6. Thanks M13.

  • love ur bike the green colour best forininjas

  • dang i'm a noob. :l haha

  • I've been considering a 250 for my first bike, since they're $4,000 brand new here, but some people at work have told me to skip ahead to the 650 because of my size. I'm 6'3 and 240lbs, and several coworkers have told me that I should be able to handle it, while others have told me I'd be too big for the 250.

  • @allabtMando If you watch other M13 videos he will tell you do not get anything above 400cc, get something around 250cc.

  • "good" that i live in germany and we have to restrict the bike to 25kw for 2 years after we get our drivers license so i can start a 600 cc with no problems...i hope ;D

  • looks like this bike has the turning of a longboard haha

  • i dont see anything wrong with the bike. the fuel economy is excellent. its pretty stylish compared to the past ones. its just as fun as any other bike. i mean how often are you gonna go over a hundred unless your just messin around just to see what it can do? its the best bang for buck especially if you're a beginner in my opinion.

  • @sk8er8920 nothing wrong with the bike at all except for the lack of aftermarket parts & lack of power.. Me personally would go with a zx-6r if i could do it all over again.. just so i have the power when i need it and i always would have a bigger market to choose from when buyin parts.. instead my dumb ass started out with a 94 katana 1100 gsx-f...

  • I guess i'm an exception to the young american riders because I have been WANTING a ninja 250. I love them. Trying to buy one soon, as well.

  • @TotemOfMetal Im with u man. did u get 1 yet??

  • @realitEcheq Not yet, dude. 250's are major gas savers. and look better than the rest of the 250's I've seen.

  • @TotemOfMetal The Ninja 250 looks better, I mean.

  • @TotemOfMetal

Yup, I just can't get over the Honda's looks...Wish the Kawa was fuel injected, though. Damn haha

  • I love smaller, great handling bikes. Here in America so many new riders want to get a 1000cc bike like their buddies so they can be 'cool'. They are inexperienced as well as on a bike that they can't control in corners just straight lines...Squids. In that split second between life and death they don't know what to do and wind up road kill.

  • I agree with the fun 'flickable' aspect of smaller CC bikes. Here in America young riders are so hell bent on getting 1000cc bikes that there's a much smaller market for them. Darn squids. I love my old '75 RD350 2 stroke for power and handling.

  • What would be the recommended minimum height to be able to operate this bike safely? I'm contemplating on whether or not getting one. But my decision is pretty much based entirely on my height. Im 5'3" (63"). I'm fairly certain that's too short to drive one, but can anyone reinforce that? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

  • how to u do ur helmet camera??

  • women drivers.... LOL

  • lol "if you buy 600cc or 1000cc bike you cant use that power" wtf are you talking about? i bought my first bike gsxr 750 3 weeks ago and i already want bigger one.

and there is no way ur 250 can win even 1000cc bike in track.

  • @Harzzu RIP

  • Thanks for the cool vids mate - helped me decide to buy a new ninja 2 days ago! Check out my first video of it by searching my name "kstoyel"

    Keep up the good work!

  • I like that there are roads just for bikes.

  • 0:21 .. M13

  • and i thought people drove badly in america

  • no.. i take it back, is this taiwan?

  • Hey that's are lot of scooters and chinese where you are at

    are you in china??!

  • If the guy pulled out a magazine and started to read it while he was driving.... It would not surprise me LMFAO

  • @cosmicfurnal Haha! Didn't see your comment! I've visited Taiwan, and guessed it was.

  • @13mordeth Is this Taiwan?

  • fucking bitch's are the same the world over

  • LOL @ beginning.. "Its a woman!" .. that fucking bitch deserves to lose her license and car. You shoulda grabbed a shot of her license plate and reported her to teh police. DUmb bitch shouldnt b driving.. That sure dont look like a kitchen to me..

  • It does not look like you need more that a moped on those streets. That 250 is crazy fast for that, but at least it could help you get out of the way of a person running a red light in the oncoming lane.

  • omg, its mo-ped city

  • Uhh sorry, but a noob is a begginer gamer.

  • @rraze1 uhh sorry, but noob means newb which is short for newbie.

  • @MeDmAnQcA Actually noob is a begginer gamer and yes newb is short for newbie which is a begginer at something like riding a motorbike, get it right geez.

  • I started with Honda Varadero 125CC, it's more expensive than any other 125cc bike as far I know but it's also the largest and heaviest with nearly 170kg. I found it an excellent starter bike since it's sort of a big small bike. When I went to ride a BMW GS650 where I got my license the only difference was obvious placements and generally more power. The size of bike was almost the same.

  • WRONG........people gotta realize this is just his opinion, facts tell a different story...Dont be mean to him because he is slow

  • i dunno how the law is in other countrys but inj germany you have to ride bikes with 34 HP for the first 2 years after you got your license so you have to restrict your bike to that power, so you can go 600 cc for your first bik and get used to it and you can unrestrict it afterwards and have morepower. the ninja 250 r has the exact power that's allowed in germany so you don't have to restrict it, -> perfect bike for beginners that want instant fun! unfortuntley i don't have any money xD

  • You're right about the fun factor. I decided to trade in a 125 on a bigger bike so before taking it in, I decided to really run the hell out of the 125. Turns out it was so much fun to wind it out and corner, that after buying the bigger bike, I BOUGHT BACK my 125. It is still my favorite bike...light and manueverable.

  • "cuz ur a big assnoob"

  • Ouch that hurt Mordeath lol....im a new rider and got a gixxer 600 cause i got a good deal on it

  • Hey look i found BlinkyCab!

  • wtf.. in the beginning u were complaining about other drivers, and you are running the roads like you own the city....

  • would the Ninja250R be more agile than a CBR250RR???

  • cause your a bigass noob...I love that fucking line epic man! lmao,, im still grinning lmao!

  • why dont you have your fucking signal light on cock fuck lol

  • you talk about driving if you were in america you would be arrested or killed for your driving. Darting in between cars and passing on double lanes. What the hell. You act like anything above your noob 250 suxs. That why pro's us 1liter and above. you have a point but take it out of context with to many opinions

  • @youfan2222 Firstly this isn't his bike. Secondly all the pros learned on bikes which were either 250cc or smaller because they are far better suited for developing the skills to handle a bigger bike, and that's the point he's making. Any idiot can go to the store and buy a 600 or a litre bike for their first bike, but good luck trying to beat someone around a corner who's riding a 150 2-stroke.

  • you talk about driving
