@bigdollars99 solar on a truck camper wile handy isn't for off grid not enough roof space. but is good for extended dry dock. basically stuff like heat/ac/microwave would be to much for the small solar system.
@bigdollars99 using the forced air uses alot of gas and power. but something like a buddy or catalytic heater would work fine using propane and need no power use much less gas. a generator wold work for powering high power devices yes.
@bigdollars99 yes for high amp devices a generator would work. as for heat a cat heater uses much less gas then the forced air. a 3000 btu cat can go for 7 hrs on high on a small bottle of gas and it will run you out of the camper. just rember to leave a window cracked open being cat heaters use o2. there has been rare cases of people dieing of suffocation being they did not know this. most of them have low o2 cutoffs but in those cases it failed.
@bigdollars99 oh and if your on grid a electric heater is the best way to heat a small camper some new models even come with electric heaters as well as the lp style.
with the solar option that is perfect for off the grid living.
