  • @velocifero86 Psx doom is a fantastic port!! Your totally right, it feels like your in a nightmare.

  • Think I preferred the music in the PSX Doom. Totally bleak and foreboding.

  • @velocifero86 Same composer, same style. Some of it is even the same.

  • i remember seeing this this doom for the first time. i went from the pc to n64 to play to new doom game thinking it would be like the ps1 games just a pc to the console and HOLY SHIT it took me by surprise. just this music sacred the shit outta me. the demons looked and sounded a LOT scarier and who can forget that finial boss

  • Yeah, it was the real Doom 3. Hell even the reading the story in the instruction book for all versions suggested this. And this even had a special last demon boss which was not easy.

  • Brings back a lot of childhood memories of having the shit scared out of me.

  • Fucking PURE evil! The epitome of Doom. One of the baddest ass games of all time.

  • This is the 'true' doom alongside PSX Doom, all others use rock music, not cool with graphics this great, by the way, i have a channel known as the "Doom Channel" lol, stop by and subscribe ;)

  • DOOM 64 is a really great game, I don't get how so many people bash it and say it is crap. And I must admit it, the first time playing this game at night I whas creeped out..

  • @TheXLink I totally agree. At least this was better than Final Doom on PS1.

  • This music to me is what truly defines Doom, because Doom is suppose to be First-Person Scifi survival-horror

  • @Deader87 I disagree, the original doom games are supposed to be over the top run and gun action games. Doom 64 however is supposed to sci-fi survival horror. This soundtrack wouldn't really fit in Doom 1 and 2

  • @VirtualDynamite psx version had this style pretty good

  • @VirtualDynamite the gameplays exactly the same, they just add subtle effects that they did to psx doom to make it scarier.

  • fuckin awsome its just awsome thumbs up!!

  • Well, there goes all of my sleep for the next few days...Awesome song though!

  • @MarioSnail007 Yea,I heard it,but it seemed very faint,but he's there :)

  • This type of music should of continued on with DOOM 3

  • @thetechnician22 It did. Sorry for reply to old comment but Doom 3 music was very similar to this.

  • @thetechnician22 No question about it!!!

  • Funny how the game's music made this doom feel scary, while the other dooms just feel hectic and frantic because of the MIDI metal music.

    I personally enjoyed it.

  • "Some music from the true Doom 3"

    What? This is Doom 64...

  • @mokibomo

He's basically saying Doom 64 is the real Doom 3.

  • Ahh, this brings back memories of a time when My father and I would still play video games together. Now the games are just too complicated for him to understand (He grew up playing Pacman and maybe Atari, and stopped, so it's understandable).

I always felt really close to him when playing these games, and when I played this game on an Emulator with him, we nostalgia'd really hard.

This game is the scariest of the 3 IMHO, and is my second favorite next to Doom 3.

  • Wouldn't you love to work in a place that sounded like this! :D

  • holy shit! that's frightening!

  • Never get tired from hearing it. I think Doom 3 should have incorporated some of the atmospheric spook like D64.

  • Why don't you record the music for the research lab?

  • ya i love the music for research lab.

  • Doom 64 mostly didn't have music.

Doom 64 had fear in audio form.

  • @theant1987 Agreed. A very scary game for its time. And it still is. I love this game.....

  • @theant1987 Sheer f*cking TERROR!!!

  • @theant1987 TRUE DAT

  • old game but still one of the scariest and greatest

  • @Shockwave6666 one of the freakiest n64 games i've ever payed, lol

  • darkness, ambience and death surround you

  • hmhmh this game creeped me out! the music was so good to!

  • neat and so long

  • I love the music in this game....the research lab has an eerie tune...
