A humvee on the other hand is great for going over a lot of uneven ground very fast because of the IFS and caring a lot of people. The military is interested in covering a lot of territory and carrying a lot of people not going up a 5 foot tall rock wall. You can't really compare jeep to hummer because they are 2 different classes of vehicles. they just have different purposes.
