  • Just beautiful!

I wonder, though. What is that red halo above the atmosphere? It looks to be almost as high as the station.

  • @CrashClownStudios Well, fresh water, yes.

  • @JMajorLITD ever heard of reverse osmosis? it's the process of making fresh water out of Sea Water. problem solved.

  • @youngweezy11 You have to burn fuel then, and that is often more scarce than fresh water in most locations...

  • what???

  • 19 people hate life.

  • @KevlarKnight Must be a sad, angry little existence.

  • @JMajorLITD i wish i was dead

  • @KevlarKnight too bad 85%+ of the people watching this are totally clueless to physics, to science, to the real world, to understanding the things around them, even too partly their own existance.

  • @KevlarKnight 20 people live in Africa.

  • science is aweome if you dont agree then you are an idiot fact

  • Lovely! Too bad the Mayans missed this

  • Amazing.

  • God is exist

  • @Skandar0007 Nice grammar.

  • @Skandar0007 God is not exist.

  • @brurof I agree, when i look into space, i cannot grasp that it was all "created" for us. God is irrational.

  • @KingofTheMafia

yeah the strange bastard certainly seems that way

  • Am I right in wanting NASA to put a permanent stream of this camera up online? :P

  • @tommygoogyx Slow your horses there buddy, we're not yet ready for what is up there. Baby steps, baby steps.

  • @tommygoogyx One does not simply put a permanent stream of this camera up online

  • @IlyaMinichev Well, one does simply want it to happen :P

  • @IlyaMinichev Oh, yes one does. Google 'ISS live ustream'. ;-)

  • @tommygoogyx

Ask and ye shall receive: Google 'ISS Live USTREAM' and click the first result. Enjoy! :-)

  • ¡Increíble!

  • ...i love people who say this is fake

.....the stupidity of others make me feel like a genius

  • This looks beautiful

  • nice!

  • I FUCKING LOVE SPACE!!

  • I saw that too,at 10 seconds look to the right of the screen and you see two objects moving parallel from earth.

  • @49icebox aliens!

  • why can you see the stars here but not during their space walks and stuff

  • HD please!

  • I'd love to know what that lightning is hovering over 0:11 to 0:15 on the left of the screen... it seems the lightning is constantly striking over one spot.

  • @xieper From miles above the earth, a single-cell thunderstorm would appear that way...

  • gorgeous

  • WONDERFULL :´(

why it isnt a hd cam

  • at 0:10 /0:11 to the right of the curvature of the earth, what are the two things that race to the right which seem to be moving at the same speed as eachother and are parallel?

  • @escapeephil also quote: (20:55:05 to 21:14:09 GMT) the sequence lasted over this period, so the moving objects couldnt be shooting stars, meteors, commets as they must be moving slower than seen here.

  • those stars it just doesn't look real... WOW

  • @fegu It's not :/. The earth part is probably untouched for the most part but the stars are fake. All those beautiful pictures you see of space, It takes 3 different pictures to be combined into 1 for those. When it comes to space, all there is to see is black, mostly.

  • @Melexonitrate No these are actual photos from a digital SLR on board the ISS. They can see stars, especially on the night side of Earth. Lots of stars.

  • @JMajorLITD That is one awesome camera then, wow. I've never seen any picture taken where the stars are also lit up that brightly and vivid. They had to have had "help" in getting it to look like that. If im wrong, very sorry. Awesome vid tho.

  • @Melexonitrate If you go to a clear, dark sky location, away from cities, and take even a somewhat long-exposure shot (say, 5 or 10 seconds) you will see an amazing amount of stars... even more than what you see with your naked eyes. Now imagine from orbit where there is no atmosphere above you... it will be even brighter and clearer with a long-exposure. This is exactly what they are doing on the ISS.

  • @JMajorLITD Gotcha, long exposure. Well thank you for responding. The person who captured this did an awesome job.

  • Space....The final frontier......

  • amazing, it looks like a computer model. I can't believe that's really how earth looks like. its so unreal.

  • Amazing

  • I had to watch this like 15 times. That is so cool.

  • This is what a futuristic thermonuclear war looks like people.

  • @TheMusketITuckedIt

    ...or, you know, lightning.

  • @SpartanM621 Is it radioactive lightning?

  • Holy crap I thought this was the intro to Halo 4.

  • Sun is so damn bright lol

  • 480p?????

  • Maybe a solar flare will kill us all at the end of this year.

  • its the reapers from mass effect 2 attacking earth

  • Vids like this are why I hold out the hope that someday withing my lifetime I can go into space.

  • @Taurinomix Very cute, but totally untrue.

  • you are an idiot

  • @Taurinomix that is funny

  • @Taurinomix Lol it does look fake.

  • @Taurinomix YOU'RE completely CGI!!

  • @Taurinomix thats not CGI you fucking dominican hindu

  • What are all those blue-ish flashes? Lightening? And the yellow lights? Are those big cities?

  • @ranza6980 Yes and yes.

  • At 0:10 to 0:12 is that a comet just right of center on the star field?

  • @bdculli Yes, that's Comet Lovejoy, on its way out from a pass around the Sun on 12/15.

  • should make take a capture from this and make it into a desktop wallpaper, especially at 0:16

  • THE SUN MY EYESSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • who the fuck dislikes this?

  • in this video, millions of people masturbating and having sex down below. you'll never look at these the same.

  • It looks like is an CG, why was the image CUT when the light was going to appear?

  • @zkk17 Because it was about to get very, very bright. ;)

  • how is it that on this clip you can see all the stars but you see none from during the live ISS transmissions?

  • @tuneksan1 Different camera settings for daytime and nighttime images. It's too bright on the day side to capture stars on camera without overexposing.

  • Well... lucky astronauts.

  • Beautiful.
