I think Song Chang Shik is a real genius. When he graduated high school, his family was so poor that he was not afforded to get any college education. Instead, he had to earn money by himself. However he self-studied music, including guitar and composition. Most of his beutiful songs were written by himself.

The songs of Song Chang Shik constitute a portion of the Korean emotional DNA. Every Korean sympathized with his songs during 1970s and 80s. We all love his song so much. I believe he could become one of the world best singers if he were born 30 years later or in a western country.
