  • this is my new fav song

  • XD

  • it was only 10 minutes it felt longer

  • We went to see Howie's show February 10, 2012 in Lancaster Pa, He is still using this video! Put Howie's show on your bucket list!

  • His show is still using this song... Dover Downs, Delaware... Jan 27 2012. It was funny how it seemed like he was going to finish his song as the camera would back away... and then would start signing and it would come closer again. Overall... good show by everyone... even this guy who's probably been gone a long time. Bet he never thought he'd be playing in front of some many people decades later.

  • Howie Mandel, show @ Hard Rock, Ft Lauderdale ... was so..funny !! Oh Happy Day's , is my new favorite, I love it..

  • wow

  • I went to his show yesterday in Ft. Laud (at the Hard Rock Live) and this started playing. Everybody thought it was funny at first, and the hell with those who got tired of it. I enjoyed the entire 10 minutes! And John Mendoza is still opening for Howie.

  • Howie is still using this as of 10/29/2011 in Vegas. I have no idea how long this will take to clear out of my brain.

  • After about the 10th loop I had to leave my seat in the theater & retreat into the lobby because I was breaking into hysteric laughter O_o I came back after I was sure the first comedian was on stage & it was over.

And then later when Howie was on he said, "Hey, wanna watch some videos?" and everyone was like "NOOOOOOOOO!!!! D8" lmfao

  • In the preshow he cycles all three stanzas..

  • Just got a flashback from Howie's show last year

  • LMAO howie looks good

  • 07/23/11 My wife & son went to see Howie tonight in Atlantic City. Got a call saying that Howie's opener is still John Mendoza. (good set) Howie used the Larry Hooper "OH Happy Day" video to warm up the crowd. Sorry that I had to miss the show. I love Howie!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @rob092251 I also went to that show. Such a great show he did. I was never a huge fan of deal or no deal, but he definately knows his stand up.

  • Larry Hooper joined Lawrence Welk's orchestra in 1948. For over 20 years he was a featured vocalist with songs such as "Oh Happy Day". I just saw Howie last night & me and my girlfriend thought this was hysterical. It was something right out of the Andy Kaufman playbook!! We were singing along while others were booing & chanting we want Howie. I can't believe they didn't get it. In fact a couple older people got up & started to walk out just as it was ending. This was comedy at it's best!!!

  • this guy rocks!

  • this song is fun to hum to when you wake up in the middle of the night and go pee

  • Just saw Howie in Rochester, NY. Awesome show, interacted with the audience for about 75% of his set. Well well well worth the money.

  • we saw howie this past friday night & are still waking up to this tune in our head! we (the audience) all had a fun time with it! we've seen him various times & he always pays it & it's always funny!

  • I just saw Howie Mandel last night in Detroit.... this went on forever! classic!

  • @hockeytownryan1 I was there too. I agree it went on forever and I knew it was a joke by Howie! Heck of a show BTW.

  • @hockeytownryan1 i saw Howie in Detroit, when i saw this i couldn't tell if i should laugh or get up and leave.

  • It is the Lawrence Welk show!!!

Thanks a bunch for finding this for us!!! LOL

  • this could be the worst song ever made, i had to sit through this repeated when i saw Howie at Foxwoods casino in MA. Must of played for 20 minutes, over and over and overrrrrrrrr.

  • saw his show in Vegas and everybody lit up there cell phones and waved back and forth. The couple with us got up and danced.LOAOff great show must see Larry Hooper was on L. Welk show .

  • Just saw Howie tonight....I think I was the only person who enjoyed this! :)

  • Just came back from seeing howie in conn. It was so funny! I had seen this clip before and just to watch the audiance go insane and start singing along was awsome!! Howie is the best!! The only thing is I'm a kid so I got slot of dirty looks from ppl! Lmao it was great though!!

  • Just saw Howie last night at Cali State Fair...oh the audience went WILD when we thought this song was ending and then it rewound and started playing again. Hilarious. Definitely not something we'll forget.

  • I went to cal expo last night to watch Howie, and this song is in my head all night long. Thanks Howie!!!

  • Fuck! I saw Howie last night at the Cal Expo CA State Fair show and now this flipping song is in my head. It's a curse!

  • Now that's a bass voice!

  • I saw Howie last night in CA, and the crowd was cheering every time it started over. Great show! Cheeseballs!

  • Saw Howie Mandel last night... so glad I found this video! This song will not leave my head!!!

  • Awsome! Saw Howie Mandel in boston, and I had to have this video in my list. I cant get enough of it

  • I just saw Howie in Boston and I had to find out what this song was. Funniest damn thing when he had it play, every time it sounded like it was winding down everyone cheered.

  • doing this for 20 minutes seems very Andyt Kaufman-esque.

  • I honestly think they need play this on a loop in Afghanistan to get Osama to come out of his hole...I know after 15 minutes of this crap, I wanted to surrender! This is truly torture.

  • I just saw Howie tonight at Comedy Works in Denver, and the son of a bitch played this video on a loop for no less than 15 minutes - NOT funny! The entire crowd, (including myself) was getting REALLY pissed!! I did not pay $70 bucks a ticket to sit through this fuckin bullshit!! This was absolutely painful...the wait staff were even getting extremely irritated. I was waiting for the torches and pitchforks to come out! FUCK YOU, HOWIE!! Lol.

  • I saw that Howie show at the MGM in Vegas a couple of years ago, as well. The crowd was getting restless after about 5th or 6th time. So funny. He messed with the crowd so badly -- it was awesome. Very "Andy Kaufman". Great stuff.

  • A buddy of mine saw him in Dayton, OH. and sent the link to this so I'd know what he had to sit through for 10-15 minutes.

How did this song EVER get put on TV? Terrible. LOL. Absolutely terrible.

  • LOL. I dunno how it got on TV, but I'm sure Howie's veeeeeery happy about that! And happy to have annoyed the hell out of us! My boyfriend & I were like: Come on! LOL. The guy in front of me kept yelling: HOWIE!!!! And during his act, when Howie asked us if we wanted to see a video, everybody yelled: NOOO!!!... LMAO! Great show though! Scott Faulconbridge opened for him - he's good too!

  • OMG thank you! we saw howie in vegas saturday night and i was singing this about 10 minutes in to the loop... it was driving us crazy! i put it out of my head but sunday night when i was trying to sleep... the sun is shinin', oh happy dayay... over and over and over, OMG... lol ty for posting this!

  • I saw Howie in Mohegan Sun and he did the same thing. He drove the crowd insane. Then he promised that we would not get this song out of our heads for months to come. Oh God was he ever correct about that. The crowd was yelling: "Stooooooooooooop"

  • okay, it's been two months now... thank you, Howie... IT STILL WON'T GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

  • OMG He just performed this in Saskatoon - what a hoot sure had nice music in my sleep though - not

  • just got back from Vegas and seeing Howie at the MGM....I think I sing this song in my sleep now! RING TONE...I want a RING TONE!

  • I NOW HAVE THE RINGTONE! LOVE IT!

  • Was at MGM Grand two nights ago also.......Can't get this freakin song out of my head !!!!!!! It's all CAROL'S fault !!!!!....lol

  • Saw show in Vegas Sunday night and have been singing that tune the last 48 hrs nonstop !

  • Just saw this 2 nights ago in Vegas. Great Job!

  • haha, i was there. that was a great night. he got so pissed at that girl.

  • I saw Howie in 2004 when I got married in Vegas. And you nailed it!

  • ... I don't think that happened. o.o

  • My pleasure! I, too, have been looking for this record, for a while. If I succeed, I'll get back to post with the info!

  • That would be by Don Howard, on ESSEX Records. It made its debut on BILLBOARD MUSIC WEEKLY's Top Ten on Dec. 27, 1952, and went as high as #6, and stayed in the Top Ten until Feb. 21, 1953.

  • just saw him on Friday he was Really funny. and i think that he has people sit in the room and yell random things so it looks like he's just making up the jokes

  • I just saw him last night and that's EXACTLY what I was thinking

  • People in Windsor started clapping along cause some idiot in a DEAD WING shirt got up & pretended to be a conductor.

  • I saw Howie on 12/30/05 at the Orlando Hard Rock. During this vid, a few people started waving their lighters to this. XD

  • Saw him twice in vegas, last and this year..Played it both times second show knew what was comming.. LMAo at other people when they played this for 15 min... Both shows crowd kept intrerupting his act with questions ...Jerks ruined it both times

  • thanks Lafuler for the share ;) Freckles!! lol

  • its part of the act lol

  • OMG, NOOOOOOOOO,,, I saw Howie Mandel on Feb 20th 2009 in clearwater and they kept playing this over and over and over and the crowed was happy before, then it just got annoying. Just when u thought it was over, he rewinds it, lol. It just never stoped, then they played it as we left the theater.lol

  • I was very disappointed with this show. He was really funny at first but it made me mad when people started yelling during the show.

  • This is God Aweful! My girlfriend and I saw Howie last evening in Kingston, NY. He played this video before he came on. The crowd went bananas and one couple got up and danced! When he rewinded it the crowd yelled" Please No!!!!!!!!!

  • yea i was there at the bardavon center it was pretty good show but i dont feel it was worth 70 dollars a ticket

  • i actually remember at the end of the show it started again...i ended up climbing the seats to get out og there

  • i hate this but i cna't stop watching

  • oh my jeezuz i remember this song lol it was so funny when it looped howie is one funny guy you wouldnt know it from deal or no deal

  • I first saw this in November 2005 at the Tropicana in Atlantic City - the audience was singing along with waving their arms back and forth about 5 minutes in - me and my ex couldn't stop singing this for 2 days!

The ushers were even singing along when the show was over and everyone was leaving.

Thanks for re-creating this - I need to send this to one of my friends - he is dying to see the looped version of this.

    GREAT WORK!!!

  • I saw Howie on Friday and he is still using this video...and of course no one knew the wiser...it was hilarious!

  • ROCK OUT!

  • very nice re-creation of howie's "opening act"!!

I seem to remember when I saw it (and this was years ago) it did make it to the end of the song, or at least you thought it was the end, and then it would kick back in to the main chorus again.. almost as a tease!! I also remember it pausing/stopping and then starting again.. like you could see the white text pop up like that of a VCR when you did play or stop with your VHS tape.

    Am I crazy?

  • You're not alone - I saw that too - audience was delirious with joy...until it kicked back again and starting playing.

This guy has a terrible voice, and it looks like he forgot the words!!

  • Coooool!!!!!!!

  • I saw Howie 2 weeks ago at the MGM in Vegas. I was front row center. After 10 minutes of Larry Hooper the crowd was in a frenzy and I began to wonder if people would riot and rush the stage.

  • haha when i saw him, i thought this was gonna go on forever, i was humming it in my sleep that night lol

  • OMG TFF I just saw Howie this past weekend at North Fork Theatre on Long Island and I swear I almost pissed myself...I think we all are on delay out here cause it took about 4 runs before the audience, including myself actually realized holy crap this is not ONE song it's freaking repeating itself over and over!! Typical Howie Mandel humor...hilarious... and the show was just as awesome!!

  • omg i was their too!, whod you go with?

  • YOU!!! you dope, only my son would ask that question!! silly boy...it was a great show wasn't it?

  • Saw Howie Mandell last fall at Rochester Institute of Technology Alumni Event, and when this first came on we all thought it was a problem untill we caught on, with the joke, could not get this song out of my head.

  • I was at las begas a month ago and watched howie's show. When they showed this video it was so funny but after 10 minutes of watching it, i actually went up the stage and tried to stop it by pushing at that play button. It didn't work. hehe.

  • I've been to two Howie shows at CasinoRama in Canada that featured this clip and it was even funnier the second time because I was watching the audience's reaction.

Even stil, I'm gonna kill my brother for sending me this link because I finally got this song out of my head almost a year later!!

  • Yes i went to see Howie in June at MGM and this video was played then also! About 10 minutes into it, everyone was shouting NO DEAL!!! NO DEAL!!! It was great!!

  • Hey.... You asked me to find it for you!

  • i was at his show in nov. this pissed me fucking off. but other than this song, it was great.

  • The cheap ployester suit and polyester tie make it even funnier. Why is the guy wearing a vest? What made it even funnier when I saw it two weeks ago was that the audience thought Howie was about to emerge from behind the stage about three times and each time we kept getting another rendition of this song. Oh man did it piss off the audience. Too much.

  • What was even funnier was when the video paused and everyone started applauding...until it rewinded and everyone screamed "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

My dad says Lawrence Welk singers were "one singer worse than the last." Ha!

The audience in Atlantic City at Topicana in November 2005 actually was waving their arms and singing along. This is the greatest psychology experiment - put thousands of people in a room, loop this video, and watch the madness take over!

  • LOL!!!!

  • It's true!

  • Oh man.. thanks for bringing back THAT blocked memory!! Ok.. yeah, we're still laughing about it now too..

  • what i think is hilarious about this video is that when it starts, he nods his head like "ok now? now? ok!"

  • i thought it was hilarious when I saw it.. I searched for over a year then a few weeks ago I found the original on here. Howie's was a little different.. it had a part where the guy looked like he forgot the words hahaha.. bloody brilliant!

  • Who is the guy? I imagine him on the Lawrence Welke show or maybe Mike Douglas. When I saw Howie last week, the audience was at first amused, then confused and then pissed off as hell. It was hilarious.

  • The gentleman is Larry Hooper. I don't know who's show he's on but you can guess the name of the song ^_^

  • I saw Howie's show at Mohegan Sun. Oh Happy Days pissed the crap out of the audience. Superfunny.

  • i was at the show at the mgm on sunday too! it was so funny

  • just saw howie play this at mgm sunday. people were gettin pissed lol

  • I was actually enjoying it hahaha..

  • nice
