funny, i see about 100 kids at the same type of shows every weekend, all common friends pretty much, none of them go to bands pages individually, they all only use myspace. why would they want to have to search for the bands page when it's easier to find it all in one place. i think promoting on social networks is kinda beating the indivual website at the moment. Im guessing shitloads of artist have noticed this, the drop from myspace to facebook has left artist in limbo. fb is so bad for arts!

This has nothing to do with getting radio play. It's also completely outdated as far as online promo - and he doesn't know enough about SEO to be talking about it. You've got some good videos but this one is a waste of time.

Taxi is useless and jsut takes your money. Oasis has a better program than Disc Makers. If you are a performing artist, you will do the best selling CDs at gigs. Radio won't play your music unless you have an expensive marketing plan in place. That's the reality.

i think another important attribute to have is a great song or songs , people dont tent to remember songs that are average but if you have a great set of tunes people will remember them and tell their friends , word of mouth is still a powerfull medium. I agree with having your web address on everything .
