  • im getting that one where all the games work but two games get bad sound, its called the retro duo

  • Thanks

  • I'm getting one of these in a week or so, really excited about it. I grew up on the NES and SNES, so this is really something I'm interested in. Nice review.

  • i like the NES way better hahja so i sold this and got an nes lol

  • Of course the real NES is going to be best. However, looking on eBay, you aren't going to find one for very cheap anymore, especially not a toploader. I like the Retro Duo because it has nearly 100% compatibility, and it comes with a one year warranty, something that you probably will not have if you buy a NES.

  • I have a "Retro Duo". It cost a bit more, but apparently it has a much higher compatibility.

  • i think your right about that one!

  • I also have a Yobo FC thingy. It's pretty cool too, primarily because it supports classic NES controllers (and the Zapper). What really sold me was the fact that it is actually a bit smaller than an NES cartridge.

  • i got one on ebay for $3 haha then i sold it for $30!!!

  • yeah there really cheap

  • Do SNES controlers? Also this is good for that one kid ho had a evil wii!

  • The controller is a replication of the original SNES controller, even the connector. You can use your original SNES controllers on this fami-clone.

  • yeah i like the original controllers better

  • i sent mine back because p1 slot didnt work for snes games

  • sweet, I purchased this same system last night on eBay and I can't wait to get it!!! I've had a major craving or whatever u wanna call it for NES and SNES games.

  • How do you solve the no screen problem when loading a game?

  • Can anybody tell me does zapper also work for the FC twin?

  • theres a special one you have to get made by YOBO

  • No, can't use any NES stuff on it.

  • know it only takes super nes controllers but there are special ones made for the fc twin there rare you can find them on ebay

  • I got one today and it don't play super nintendo games ethere piece of shit. But i can still play my NES games but .

  • If I got an FC Twin I wouldn't even consider a part of my collection cause it's a bootleg piece of shit.

  • um kid i am sorry to inform you that fc twins are not new at all

  • There newer than the NES for sure!

  • OK, for everyone asking why the snes/nes games don't work when you got it is because your shipping is crummy and it broke. These things can break worse than the 360 did when it came out.

  • Yeah

  • i got one 4 Christmas and my controllers play the snes but not the nes game because i bought a box of nes games factory sealed and tryed them but they dont work

  • did you try all of the buttons?

  • um i found out why its was a bad shipment im getting a new one tomorrow what suxs is they gave me one and let me keep mine but the one they gave me only plays nes games

  • At least you can play both types of games.

  • tru but its suxs having switch them everytime

  • I don't have an SNES or an NES so I asked my parents for them for Christmas. I think I might be getting this so I want to know if its any good.

  • This is a good system but not as good as the original. I have the originals now=)

  • pretty nice as a games collectors item, or just to replace the nes and snes.

and have some fun with just one unit brilliant.

  • Yeah I have an original NES and NES2 I want a snes but never bought one yet

  • does the fc twin require a adapter to play nes games,or do u just put the cartirage(incorrect) in.plz reply

  • No you dont need an adapter to play NES or SNES games you just put the cartridges in the FC Twin.

  • oops I meant 3 of the titles not 3 people

  • plays NES SNES and Super Famicom exept for a few titles but out of them maybe 3 people care about

  • Where did you buy your FC Twin?

  • I got it at play n trade you can get one online or in a store

  • Is this black one the newest version? I just bought the silver one, and I heard that it was an older model...

  • The older model had no "Yobo Gameware" logo on it. If it console itself doesn't have a Yobo "Jewel" sticker on it, its the older model. If there is a jewel, its the newer model.

  • I got this system last week, and purchased "Super Mario Bros." (NES) and "Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure" (SNES) to play on it.

Both games work well (although, upon my second playing of Mario I noticed that the screen would shake slightly during a blue-sky world...which it didn't do when I first played).

Anyway, the only problem I had was with the Mario game. I had a very difficult time getting it into the NES slot (and it's just as difficult to remove).

Did you have this problem too?

  • No it did not shake at all and it is hard to put in and take out because the connector pins are new and even if you buy a NES with a new 72 connector pin it will be hard to take out.

  • I actually noticed that I have this problem with the SNES games too, but it's not as difficult as the NES one.

I wonder if it'll get easier with time and multiple use?

  • It did with mine so it probably will

  • but you have a nes and an snes wy did you get fc twin and if you have all 3 systems i would think you should have more games enless you like just got all them and were do you get all the money i went on ebay and there like 40$ (plus shipping and handling)

  • I bought it so if I had a turnament I did not have to bring both

  • WHAt made u get into old video games???

  • They are FUN classic games.

  • But what made u look into them

  • I don't know I like simple games better I have not played my PS3 in weeks.
