Is everyone around Individuo5293 as rude and course as he? He must be from some liberal democrat compound up around Washington. Pathetic individual and reenactor.
i am in the 10th NY Heavy Artillery and this was the first time i was at Gettysburg. Our cannons were extremely loud but we were definitely out boomed by the 24 pound bronze firing off 2lb. rounds.
In the reenactments that the public are allowed to see for the most part, the reenactor decides when he dies. There are many reasons; tired of walking, low on ammo, want to take a nap, no one is dying so someone falling keeps the public interested, your in a good spot to take pictures without the public seeing the camera, don't feel like trying to cross an barrier/terrain ahead (Gettysburg i.e. the creek). My reason most of the time is that my unit is retreating and I don't want to leave.
I am the drummer boy at the reenactment of Columbus Bellmont. how it is decided who dies is you volunteer to die at some point and a cetain cuw tells you when to fall and die. for example the 25th cannon blast was my cue to die this year. i died 30 seconds after the 25th cannon blast
thats the biggest one all year...i hope you enjoyed it, i know we the reenactors did, after the last battle was over there was grown men down there crying becaues of what they just saw, i was quite at aw to, i still cant hear out of my left ear, becaues i was in the front rank, i was in the 3rd M.D. compay B.
Oh very cool! And thank you, because if it wasn't for all of you reenactors I, and the thousands of people who went, wouldn't have been able to see this. I really appreciate what you all do. :)
I wish I had stayed alive longer then I did. I took a hit about 80 yards from the wall. I am part of the 2nd Virginia but since only 3 of our unit showed we fell in with the 50th Huckabee's. Best time of my life. I look forward to the 150th.
Im going to the one in 2013 as a reenactor and I was wondering if you have to bring your own cooking supplies or if they feed u.
