I listened to metal mt whole life and when i heard john frusciante's playing i converted lol. Metal made me pick up the guitar but john made me understand it!

Other artists such as Snoop Dogg (yes in consider him an artist) can appreciate other types of music. Musicians don't limit themselves to only one genre and it pains me to see that the biggest ignorant pricks are their fans who often are close minded and bash other genres. Know what im saying? @blazingguns02 Dude, I'm a pretty big A7X fan myself, and I'd still say that John Frusciante writes better, more beautiful and complex music than Avenged could ever hope to. Synyster Gates might be more technically proficient with his sweeps and speed, but John's got soul and his solos are pure emotion put into notes. And, he's written the most amazing music I've ever listened to. Take it from a musician.
