I played Wow and never played warhammer, but i played daoc that i think is realy similar to WAR.

in my point of view, the 2 games are realy different at least in term of pvp.

In WOW pvp is fixated on arena fight at the contrary of WAR who is more fixated on the RvR. So the caracters abylity and all are more developed for the purpose.

to me :

Wow = competiveness

War = fun

That why i think this can't be compared, the 2 game are completely opposed in term of pvp.

Get Warhammer if you like PVP combat MindOfIce. Warhammers PVP makes WoWs look like a french slapping contest.

Warhammer>WoW PvP. In a while when Mythic makes improvements, WAR>WoW PvE to. WAR is > than LOTRO. WAR>All other possible MMO's you could play. I'ce played WAR, WoW, and Guild Wars. None of them stack up near as close to WAR, IMO

its all in your opinion. Honestly War is Better. i just dont like the play style but hey thats just me. i like both the games. WoW is going to have a 3rd expantion and graphics and everythings starting to get better. the new expantion brings WORGEN and GOBLINS

you will probably be spending a little more than 300 if you need a new video card, ram, CPU, and mobo that all those fit in unfortunately...kept my HD and monitor and bought 4 parts listed above for about $500.

For $300 I have a AMD Quad Processor 2 gig of ram (for now till I can get 1 more) 500w power supply, and motherboard (combo deal for motherboard and cpu) all on Newegg.. which I'm hoping to sell my Xbox 360 on craigslist and throwing some of my own cash into getting real soon so I can join the computer movement into high quality graphics and PC gaming hehe

For me WAR is a better game than WoW because it has a better RvR/PvP system.

The RvR is better balanced more intense and more mature.

Capturing keeps and defending keeps are awesome sometimes even Epic :)
