I'll be a man and admit it....this song made me cry.

Had just finished my 80 hour 1000gs playthrough at last...went into the Whiterun inn to find Ysolda so I could marry her after saving the world...sat down and listened to this song. Such a great journey, both in game and out of it. Skyrim is amazing.

@Drigoroth Those pauses are due to how this particular musical style is played. Pay attention to the verses - there's always a consistent pattern of phrases between pauses. Removing them would destroy the original style, and its impact.

@Chaosrains5117 I understand the point of a half pause, or a rest between musical compositions, but when it is filled with dull silence, and no crescendo was built up to it, or braught from it, it leaves you wanting more from the musical phrase.

Play the tune to mario, but leave out the last note. You will know something is missing and it will ruin the piece. That is what the pause does to me, atleast sustain a note to give us something to hold on to...
