  • I do like this series and I just have to say that the Joker is funny here(I love the "That says alot!" line) But this series doesn't quite have the realism that the Nolan films had. And yes I know you don't have a big budget, I'm not saying you should have gone totally money crazy with this, I just doesn't have the realism. This actually feels like what I think a Harley Quinn origin would go in a comic series set in the Nolanverse. Second time watching the series, and it still awesome though

  • I LOVE YOU GUYS I COULDNT STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!!! I wish they would of used you guys. You all would of been perfect.

  • The Joker in this seems too serious to me (no pun intended). He's not funny, just psychopathic. While he is technically a psychopath, he is different than other criminals in that he makes us laugh and we love him even though he's a murderer, but here he doesn't come off as much different than any other whack-job with a bloodlust, and frankly he's not very likeable. This is my first time watching this series, and I'm going to finish it, but I'm kind of disappointed.

  • @shadic74 the nolan joker wasnt very comedic.

  • This Joker is like Charles Manson a little when you think about it

  • @batstoogeproductions indeed. that was one of the concepts i had when doing this

  • 5:02 - 5:05

That was without a doubt the funniest part of this whole thing!

  • why doesn't anyone comment on the music in the endings of each short, i love them.

  • This Is completely Perfect. And you guys have good acting : D

  • @ibravosp5 thank you

  • Seems like someone needs to grow up and stop taking things to heart...Why So Serious?!

  • Correct me if I'm wrong here, but in "Mad Love" wasn't the Joker's manipulation of Harleen's mind always very subtle? In this fanfilm the Joker's flat out asking Harleen to do evil things rather than cleverly corrupting her mind like we saw in "Mad Love".

  • @Booncier this is part 2. in part 1 he was more subtle. now he's in the next phase. i paid very close attention to the manson family dynamic. cause essentially joker is like charles manson in this.

  • LOVE THIS ONE. @blinky500 please make another part to this Spinoff.

  • @HugeVicTORiousFan09 there were 5 parts all together.

  • this is more like two emo kids in a screwed up "love" story trying to get a thrill. i almost consider it an insult to the character of harley and joker.

  • @MasterNinjaTarzan Are you retarded? If this was anything like Twilight(actual emo kids in a screwed up love story), there would be less dimensions. This is 8 minutes long, and has much more definition in it than the majority of movies nowadays. If you're going to make some arrogant comment with nothing behind it except that you probably watched like two minutes of the video, make it a little longer.

  • @jjboy157 no need to snap at me if i disagree with you. i just feel as though he should bring more of the comical element of the joker into it. he kinda loses the character in the anger. the joker is stronger than that more resilient. It does remind me of some dramatized version of two people who think they're the joker and harley and try to mimic they're brilliance. I will say this though, it tons better than the fan stuff that is typically posted but he's no Nolan joker and not even a Scott.

  • @MasterNinjaTarzan well i respectfully disagree with your statement. my joker wasnt mean to be funny. he was meant to show the power of persuasion and how someone can corrupt another simply through words. im not heath ledger and i am not the joker blogs. i am mr. j. take it or leave it.

  • @blinky500 and if that was your original intention you did a good job. all im saying is that the joker is a essentially a dark twisted comedian. I think thats why it came across less like the joker himself. by losing the humor from him it was an absence of something well loved by the joker. if your sole purpose was to portray the power of words then i would be MORE interested to see an original character of yours. though i can understand why you chose mr. j

  • @MasterNinjaTarzan You didn't disagree with me. And he was cracking jokes...

  • @jjboy157 i did in the sense that i didnt enjoy it very much. he didnt have the laugh. i think thats one of the biggest thing for me

  • @MasterNinjaTarzan the jokes were there, if you didnt catch em, then maybe you're not as quick as you thought.

  • @blinky500 excuse me but i find insults unnecessary

  • @MasterNinjaTarzan that was a joke.

  • @blinky500 sorry i didnt memorize the script. that was from the thing about noticing signs correct?

  • @jjboy157 Who the hell compared this to the Faries of twilight....is this whole goddam community gone to pure utter idiocey....sigh.

  • @playadelrey100 Actually, I was referring to the "stupid emo kids" that are in Twilight, as the person who I was arguing with so "cleverly" put.

  • *laughs* that says a lot.

drama broke with him for juuuuuuuust a sec there XD

i love it, keep doing what you do, your amazingly talented and

    FREAKING AWESOME

    i love you guys!

  • @timburtonrules101 thank you.

  • OHMYGOD ! these are amazing ! and if you guys love these you should check out the jokerblogs if you haven't already ! both are my favourite things on youtube!

  • HARLEY HARLEY PLEASE HELP ME! oh thats original xD genius man!

  • halreen please help me! joker; Thats original. lol thats was so funny to me for some reason.

  • 6:28- jack nischoson moment

  • I loved it, and bonus points for using Kittie at the end!

  • Wow, this is great! If you're interested it would be great if you could check out a recent Batman fan film I had the opportunity to work on. /watch?v=GqJQ48qK5bg

  • i love the fact that HE's....... So....... SERIOUS keep em comin ya dig very funny very very funny and use more bloood thank youuuuuuuuuuu

  • Okay... This is the best, most accurate version of Harley's transformation I have ever seen!!!!!!! I do love The Joker Blogs, they're a lot of fun with Joker going on his road trip, and both of these shows explore Joker's philosophy on life (and how to end said life for people you don't like, and live it to the max yourself). However, you have managed to do in two episodes what Joker Blogs are only just getting to - where Harley goes crazy from Joker's prompting. Another thing is that Joker Blo

  • @moongirl786

I disagree. Yes, Harley's change is well done, but it feels too rushed. But I that's because this was intended to be for a VERY short series.

The Joker Blogs wasn't meant to be so swift, which is why that series is taking its time with Harley. And, in many ways, that makes her transformation all the more torturous. Don't worry, though. If the trailer for the second series is any indication, we WILL witness Harley's full descent into madness in the Joker Blogs next year.

  • @moongirl786

To continue my last response, Harley was ALREADY showing signs of her transformation towards the end of the Joker Blogs. Her refusal to kill the Joker after the Joker killed her husband, for instance. And when she defensively blurted out to Summer Gleason, "I wasn't obsessed with him." And Summer retorted, "I didn't say you were." Awkward pause. Yeah, she's losing it.

  • @sigmaK9 True enough. Yeah, I can't wait for Joker Blogs series two!! Hopefully it comes out before Dark Knight Rises so I have something to tide me over till then, although I know Rises won't have Joker. I hope Anne Hathaway does a good job as Catwoman. I know many people are expressing doubts, but I trust in Nolan!! :)

  • Is this availible to purchase on DVD online anywhere... the whole thing I mean. All parts together.

  • @Bisbeatle yes, please visit my website. the link is on the home page.

  • i love you guys SO MUCH...coming from a harley quinn cosplayer...i've done so many versions...& ive never seen a harley so good that didnt have the accent...& the insanity is mind bending I GIVE YOU GUYS A THUMBS UP!!!! <3

  • I love the mix of joy & insanity on her face when she was killing that guy :D

  • woulda been better if Joker's hair was pushed back, and in a suit

  • @HushSniper HE JUST ESCAPED!

  • Harly Quin "He is the only thing that had ever made send in my entire life!"

Joker "*Snorts* That says a lot."

I swear, you guys really got into this when you made it. I love how it was just so psychotically funny and dramatic at the same time.

  • Both Joker and Harley Quinn actors rock!!!

  • great work, one prob that I didn't wanna say is that the kill scene was poorly shot; but well acted. If I were to shoot it, I'd use the same angles but make the camera follow the lead pipe and make her arms more demanding and less robotic. I guess that you learned this and did better in SIncerly Mr. J which I believe is the best out of the series... All and all great addition.

  • Harley shifted a bit too quickly to seductive mode, with all her, 'I love him' stuff. I think her first kill should be more desperate. Sultriness is fine and all, but not before her first kill. She'd be quietly enragged, not sultry before she kills him, and then revert to the laughing maniac you had at the end. Still pretty good. I like how the Joker mentions how, if anyone should die, it should be Harleen Quinzel. I've always thought the same; Harleen dies and is reborn as Harley Quinn.

  • Nicely done. Bravo!!

  • the dude who plays Joker is a stroke of genius :0

  • @black00dice thanks

  • @blinky500 I honestly believe if there was another Batman Movie with the Joker in it, you should play him. I think you're that spot on, I love these.

  • @black00dice he's great as a director as well check out his prequel series, he's done a Freddy Prequel and F13th one and is working on Michael Myers...great stuff

  • Acting is strange... Not sure what to think..?

  • @InvaderZimMokima17 they are strange characters in a strange story. think nothing.

  • I love this...you crazy people make my life less crazy everyday :D

  • Hey look! Crazy people!

  • Dude.. watch Season 5 episode 12 of Dexter.. its kinda like the writers were inspired by this video.

  • Nice! The Joker was pretty funny in this one :)

  • This is pretty good, a little soap opra at the begining, but good.

I find that I am biased towards thejokerblogs becuase I am comparing the two but I digress.

  • Harley's hot. Just saying.

  • Easily my favorite section of this series, but heck honestly I fangirl over the whole thing.

  • That was as good as anything Chris Nolan Could have done!

  • OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THAT WAS FUCKED UP ur movies are awesome

  • i love ur movies they are so awesome! but i was just watching this series on your site and tjis whole series keeps playing the third one

  • @Guitardude1616 its on a playlist, just skip to the part you want.

  • This is just great. That Joker is just awesome. Whoa.

He's just maybe little too adult, I've seen him always like a psychotic child. But that's not bad, the character has at least 198273 personalities and it's always nice to see the different one.

  • I SWEAR u guys are GREAT!!!!!! U could b the new joker!!! YOU GUYS ARE MIRROR!!!! I think u guys are ryte up there with Heath Ledger and Britt murphey mann It sucks they're dead!!!

  • @Maddluv4eric yeah its tragic, murphy and ledger would have made the ultimate joker/harley duo.

  • @blinky500 Yes but the show must go on and you guys are the next best to me lol I loved how you did this ;-)

  • lolz, "He's the only thing that's ever made any sense in my life!!"

I think that Joker got his daily nine jollies from that line, and for that, we both thank you.

  • This shit is awesome very good protrayel of the joker and harley quinn

  • ahhhhhh The Joker. Greatest Philosopher of life..

  • u guys ever think of doing the joker voice like mark hamill

  • awesome!

  • awsome!

  • your laugh is groovy

  • California girls were undeniable. fine, fresh, fierce. We got it on lock. Woah

    BIIITTTCCHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why are you all talking about the Joker guy? The girl playing Harley is alot better.

  • I love two parts in this... *rolles eyes* "oh thats original" and *snort* "that says a lot" Will some one fine The Joker so I can marry him?

  • that. was. BRILLIANT!!

  • natural born killers

  • *snort* 'That says a lot.' I loved that line! XD

  • Chris you were awesome in this whole series. Kim great job too. You guys are like a dream team, all of you. All can do everything very well. I hope you guys have all the success in the world. My friends and I have started a Blinky fund. Not rich but maybe it'll help with costumes or something lol.

  • @Uallsuck100 thanks.

  • @blinky500 you guys are worth it. I know "sincerely Mr. J" is next but I will always hound you for Wolverine. I don't know how you feel about the ol' cankuckehead but if anyone could do something brilliant it'd be you guys. even if you don't you guys are still worth it. Much respect Chris and all my best.

  • @Uallsuck100 wolverine would be fun, just cant afford the costume right now. and if i did a wolverine movie, it would be with the brown and orange costume, thats my favorite.

  • @blinky500 it would be weird after 6 years of seeing him in a wife beater and jeans to see him in his actual costume

  • u guys hav anothr subsciber! :D

  • Yea.I love your vids.You rock.Check out daretobestupidshow.

  • will u marry me? plz lol?

  • HAHAHAH!!! i laughed sooo much

    'haha that says alot'

  • Great!!!

  • I love how your series portrays Harleen and Harley as two totally different people, almost hinting at a split personality. That's a really interesting concept about Harley that has been unexplored and I think that it was really clever of you:)

  • @AltoCat1 thank you.

  • The one thing I dislike about Joker is... eh. How do I describe it.

His physical features. And by that, I mean he looks too... built.

  • Great work! This is like Bonnie & Clyde or Sid & Nancy...to the 25th power. lol. I hope they do make the 3rd movie based around this subplot or at least make some type of spin-off movie. The Joker is the same as Dracula and James Bond, he's an iconic character. Just because Heath Ledger gave a phenomenal performance, doesn't mean others actors should shouldn't be allowed the chance to give his own vision of the character. It's unfair! Fuck Riddler, I want Joker and Harley! (Maybe Catwoman)

  • I like how twisted the beating sequence was; THAT felt like the turning point in Harleen's sanity to me.

  • @that70sguy2000 good. cause thats what we were going for.

  • You guys are incredible. You capture my vision of the two perfectly, and it's incredibly beautiful. Joker Blogs is incredibly well-done, but the actors here have such incredible chemistry, and the relationship between Joker and Harley really breathes. I find it, dare I say it, very sexy, and I'm grateful to you for your work.

  • @leftyliz140 aw shucks. thank you.

  • @blinky500 I said "incredible" way too much.

  • @leftyliz140 doesnt matter. still flattered.

  • hey blinky500 whats that song that plays when harley is beating the shit out of that dude

  • @ProAudioMaster secret by the pierces.

  • lol this is pretty alrightt, the joker just has to lose a little weight hahahehehohohaa

  • If you ever need a Robin ( Tim Drake ) I've got it wired and I think I'd be perfect for this type of movie . I would be a little more darker .

  • You are all geniuses. I hope to one day reach your status.

  • I LOVE YOU ALLL

  • @FashionKittentv we love you too.

  • @blinky500 YAY! now my life is complete ! 8P

  • @blinky500 - great work man just sub to you, but if ledger was alive I would not want harley to be in the third batman movie, ledgers joker is just too crazy, he is completly nuts to have harley has his side kick he would propably kill her he is that insane, he has drive but the road has no end its a dead end it goes on forever, his motives are terrifying esp when he was willing to burn a tower of cash with the guy on top

  • SUBSCRIBED!

    this is amazing :D

  • OMG! If they ever wanted to add Harley Quinn to the nolan movies this'd be the way to do it!!!!

    Love this!!

  • lol " He's the only thing that has made sense in my entire life!"

    " (Snort) That says alot"

  • wow that dudes acting is pertty good.

  • If you need help for Jarvis Tech AKA mad hatter im available ^^

  • u know if u ever need a little kid version of the joker ive masterd the laugh :)

  • thanks for the offer.

  • goood job man.. that was good

  • this has got to be my favorite since...well hell since batman:deadend. you sir are fantastic.

  • I'm curious, are you and the girl who played Harley a couple in real life? :O

  • nope. kim (the director) and i are.

  • dude is harley's hair white or is it the lighting

  • its the lighting. she's platinum blonde.

  • harleen help me!

    ahhh thats original

    LOL

  • Art.. Pure art.. It's been a time since I've seen this kind of.. let's call it spirit? Keep it up!

  • Still the BEST Joker and Harly shortfilm that far... aand the best of your Joker series... i like part three, but this one is plain awsome ^^

  • Fantastic! :D I love your take on Harleens breaking point and transition to Harley.

  • "That says alot." Man you guys did this well, not only did you get his "sense of humour" right but you threw in a few elements from Mad Love a few from The Dark Knight and a few from The Killing Joke, I love it, Keep it up!

  • omg love the series. btw all the characters are very detailed. love it!! in next one the well done mr j video... i love the way Harley's costume is! Great job!! i got one word to describe this video (all of iT) AWESOME!! :) KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! TOTTALLY LOVE IT!

  • Soooooo amazing....you do great work im so impressed

  • I just realized there are more videos in this series and have become amazingly excited. Again, amazing job with this film. I think thats possibly the most disturbed I've seen Harley Quinn. Bravo.

  • I have seen many of your shorts including Jack and Jill (awesome by the way) the only thing that really bugged me was when she was beating the doctor, I think she should hae used a sludgehammer just to bring some of the comic flare into it. I'm not saying an oversized sludgehammer but one you would find in a carpenters toolchest (i'm sure they have some at Arkham)

  • Finally!! a series that shows a way where the Joker manipulates and changes harley in a way that she decides to change her life.

  • whats the song as Harley kills the guy

  • Beautiful work, man

  • This is a pretty good series! I'd definitely think of this as a third and possibly fourth installment to the new Batman series. The only things bugging me and I'm sure many other people is the voice.

  • not everyone was born with heath ledger's vocal cords.

  • I know. I'm not trying to sound insulting, I really like this series.

  • @Kaweebo Personally I think the voice is great! The guy does it in his own way and it becomes great when he does it. If you're not thinking about how other versions of the Joker sound you're not comparing with them and it doesn't disturb you. But that's just how I see it.

  • True. His voice is AMAZING compared to most of the people here on Youtube. Especially all the fanboys that made Joker vids after Dark Knight came out. Still, I think the greatest is CiscOreo.

  • 5:05 - LMAO

  • sounds like Zydrate Anatomy from Repo The Genetic Opera

  • no thats in the 3rd one.

  • AH. my mistake. They're all very good though. :D

  • holy crap. in the next batman movie this guy needs to play joker. sometimes i even thought it was Heath

  • all you need is the same camera they use for films and your set

  • Words can't describe how great of an actor you are, Mr.J.

  • Fantastic!

  • What was the song you used at the end of this video?

  • Comment removed

  • This is art,

it's this kind of beautiful work that inspired me to become a cinematographer, I would love to film this kind of brilliance

  • EPIC!

  • You both play very good crazy people.....yes thats a compliment, a very weird, twisted compliment

  • she's lost her mind by listening to the man that suffers super sanity. cool!

  • you could be the new joker

  • @blueyeswhitedragon2

if i lose like 15 pounds. as skinny as ledger was, he has some big ass shoes to fill.

  • XD Awesome!!

  • all of ur videos are 5/5 dude

    amazing job

  • song from the end?

  • That was just beautiful.

    Moar!

  • Fucking awesome!!! The only thing, i watned to see Harley kill him with a sledge hammer (so you can tie in the over sized mallet fromt he comics etc) that would make a perfect transition.

This has made Friday afternoon in the the office go much faster, I hope Nolan sees this.

  • this is very dark i love it 5*****

  • "He's the only thing that's ever made any sense in my entire life!"

    *snigger* "That says a lot..."

  • ohh I liked this one a lot better, I could definitely see the change in Harley here! I'm just frustrated because I can't figure out the last thing she says, right before the credits :(

  • Yeah I had to rewind it a few times to hear she said: "can we do that again?" these films are brilliant

  • yea dark knight needs to kick they asses

  • completely AWESOME!
