I just played a game, USA vs Japanese, and right when it was turning out to be a really good game, the Japanese players left, so my friend and I just ran around the map with our Shermans and other tanks shooting random objects till we won lol!

You didn't really seem to position your jumbo for minimum enemy penetration, but your enemy seemed like a bit of a ditz as well. Entertaining, in that it makes me want to play Men of War again, though.

I prefer men of war, a lot more tactical and realistic. No hp, your tiger tank will die with one shot to the rear or side if you are stupid with it. Tracks damaged, engine damaged, boom explosion. People die with one shot (or two if you get them in the arm or something). If you want a taste of realism by the game. Assault squad is coming out. Much better and improved graphics, can't wait.

I like COH, its kinda kewl but it does seem that inthe end its a race to see who gets the biggest and most tanks first like all the mechwarrior games to date...a race to the biggest mech. I am a tank whore but still ive tried using infantry in COH andno matter how I do it the Infantry just get wasted and I wind up w/like 40% casualty rate w/ my infantry. It'd be nice to see a game were infantry are actually worth 10 cents and that tanks can be used as cover from MG bunkers for combined attacks

CoH is more about big strategy and capping points to cripple your enemies through resources or holding areas. This game is more about the combat itself so it has a better cover system, more realistic deadly weapon damages, and a lot of micro and things to manage like how much ammo your guys have or what guns theyre using or where they're placed in cover.

I haven't played multiplayer yet, but if it's anything like the single player, then gamespot's rating of 8.0 is bull shit. Soldiers will run up to enemies, not firing, not doing anything just getting killed. I click on the enemy to shoot at and they stand there like dumb fucks. Also, the level of difficulty is rediculous. I have never played a game that is geared to kick a player's ass so hard. The cinematics are shitty too, why do the russians talk like fucking canadians?

it is there, you barely can see it in this video... but in game, its there.. the fog of war is really realistic, because, the infantry don't see a huge circle around them selves, they see like real humans do. the tanks also have a realistic sight range and such.

Depends on your style. CoH is more arcadish, whereas MoW gives players a realistic experience. As for myself, I tend to lean towards realism just because of the extra excitement it brings.

Nope, it was about 90 feet straigh ahead and it hit my frontal armor and my tiger 2 just exploded, i've just come to the conclusion that it was fired in the 1place where it may of some how got under the turret and riochet'd into the ammo.

Even tho MoW is advanced i doubt 20mm rounds can riochet inside a tank and blow it up.

there r planes, but most of them are enemies in single player and allies doing strafing/bombing runs. the only time where you can use an airplane is in one of the multiplayer maps, otherwise you cannot use planes.

its in the actions area you click that then you see that hand button click that then click over the body then your man is carrying a body you go to a bush then im not sure but it works you go to your inventory then drag the body out then he'll drop it i finiseh that mission in a breeze and crazy

You can control from just one guy to around 100 guys.

This game is hard, Since its realistic you can lose your tanks in one shot if it hits the spot.

So in Singleplayer you will have to save alot. But i really enjoy it, Since you really get rewarded for playing good and badly punished if you make to many mistakes.

Hey Guys who think that americans won the war dont know anything about history cause america entered the war in 1943 and won only one big battle and that was because germany was losing the war allready and american technolgy sucked cause the tiger and the sherman came out in the same year!

Lehmapoiss you don't know anything about history yourself. So don't try to teach anyone. WTF america enterd 1941. They also did not just fight on one place. They fought in Italy, in the pasific, helpt out in north africa and fought in france.

America also helped Great britain and Soviet with the lend-lease program. Wich gave em equipment etc..

But yes America did NOT win the war. But they helped out. Without Great britian and Soviet they could't have done much.

Lehmapoiss you are wrong on the 1943 part but you are right on the fact that America didnt crack much. D-Day was one of the biggest failures for America. "Charge up against those MG's and artilery batteries men, we can do it!"

D-Day wasn't a failure at all. If germany would have had an armor division closer and proper air support there it could have been.

It was only on Omaha beach the losses where very high, the rest of the beaches where easier to capture.

However its still wrong how america like to see themselves as they only won world war 2.
