  • Wonderful!

  • for those, that are unaware, a foreign ship flies that countries flag while in port, as

a sign of respect, also known as a courtesy flag. example she was British flagged, but while in Australian Waters, she flew the Australian Flag.

  • thanks for posting!!! GREAT Sound

  • A beautiful sound from a beautiful ship - we miss QE2.

  • Err, what where the four flags? Cunard, red Ensign, Italian?

  • The flags on the mast are:

    The Cunard House Flag

    The Red Ensign

    The Dutch Flag

    and possibly The Blue Peter*

(*The Blue Peter is traditionally flown to show that a ship is sailing that day)

  • Love the video!

The QE2's horn is just the most unique & iconic sound I've heard on a ship.

Theres no other ship with such a magic touch anywhere in the world ,

I always loved hearing her blow her horn in NY & it's a sound I'll dearly miss.

    Thanks for posting!

    PEACE!

  • whats the ship airhorn signaling combo's and what do they mean, never heard 5 long blasts?
