another REAL u.f.o. sighting over Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

i seen this in tofino, BC a few weeks ago! star gazing..i've seen my share of satellites/shooting stars/airplanes... this was by no means any of the above..moved faster than a satellite..slower than a shooting star..appeared closer than anything i've seen ~ magical moment :)

what can happen is, depending on time of night, due to the altitude of an object and direction of the sun, a satellite can glow very bright as it reflects the sunlight, even when it is dark out. Due to it's height it puts it above the curve of the earth and still in range of the sun.

Thank you for posting this. I saw this 3 weeks ago when I was at Dallas road and it is absolutely not a satellite, plane, helicopter, nor Venus. I watched it for 2 long hours and I have never seen anything move like this. It was bright enough to reflect a dim light on the water. I am a skeptical person by nature and would have thought this video was a poorly made hoax, but seeing it myself, I can confirm that the video is real. I still have many questions about the object tough.

I've seen iridium satellites that look a lot like that one did and they are bright enough that their distance seems misleadingly close.

LoL, seems fake to me. Don't get me wrong, but compare the color of the sky at e.g. 1:00 and after the UFO disappeared (e.g. 1:14 ) - the colors don't match.

yea, i was born there. 12 years ago i saw it from by basement window and it moved in a cross shape and then formed a circle around that and came back to center!!

hehe gotta love venus. its still good and visible now just after sunset. not much detail can be seen because it is small and far away. even with my 10" telescope, only a little detail can be seen.

what time was this at? it may have been the iss. you can go to heaven-above com to find out the times when the iss crosses ur area. satellites move very very fast across they sky, exactly how ur discribing it

no I know what satelites look like I have seen hundreds, this object was at sea plane hight, below the clouds just a few hundred feet up
