I just ran the flag for the first time, what do you do when you get to your base do you just hold the flag or do you drop it. Like how do you score the flag point for your team? I've been playing WoW for over 5 years but I just recently decided to try pvping for a change from the pve questing and dungeon grind.

@takeanumber When you carry the enemy flag, your flag has to be on your flag base. Then you just run to your own flag, and score a point. If you carry the enemy flag and your opponent has your flag, then you can't score a point.

when you ran back to your base to cap the flag, you showed one of the worst examples to do, u stopped to use arcane explosion on a guy, that slows u down to get to the flag room, those are the ppl i hate seeing playing this game who stop to get a kill unless its our flag

monsivais214: the only way you can capture the opponent's flag, is if your own flag is at your base. That's why when you ran back to the flag stand you couldn't cap your flag.

WSG, depends on which class your playing, but in my experience a BM hunter( damage is not great, but still solid) and a healer(priest in my case), healing BG's is alot of fun.

Some gear (Shadowfang, Twisted Chanter's Staff) you can buy in the Auction House. Other gear, you get from instances like Wailing Caverns, Shadowfang Keep, and Deadmines. Enchants come from high-level enchanters.

Hi I'm a level 36 Hunter Night Elf, and my ass always gets kicked in warsong gulch. I don't know if I'm always playing against higher levels and that is why they get me all the time or if Hunters and Nightelves suck for PvP. I'm usually a PvE kinda girl so not sure if it's different this way when fighting others.

It's not just your level. The key is to get top gear and top enchantments. You can't do it alone, you need high-level players who will escort you thru dungeons like Scarlet Monastery and Razorfen Downs, to get gear.

You're probably only having trouble finding good guides for your class because, somehow, you're managing to spell your own class wrong.

Google "ROGUE" and you'll find something.

If you really wanna feel bad, look up Flagtech on wowarmory, 19 belf pally >2500 hp, most serious twinks are over 2k. If you are already 19, I wouldn't spend much effort or money twinking now. IMO play, have fun, hit up the auction house for cheap greens if you are missing gear. Minimum, get a leg armor kit & minor speed increase enchant to boots. I've harrassed and outran plenty of twinks, lol. Don't be afraid to toss out a heal, even if your not specced for it. PvP is very dynamic.

hey i know this is a tutorial but my main is a mage and if you ever spam arcane explosion i may come and delete your chars... use a spell it does more dmg and has some kind of effect... your dps doesn't improve by aoeing unless there are 4 or more people
