the chorus is like getting yer fucking cock stuck in a nice pussy,.and then pullin out an blowing a huge fuckin load on a dog's head. mad mental shit. mad fer it.
seriously, i'm in a mental institution right now, and I'm gettin my rocks knocked off on this.
@artievcudds Music died in '94? Considering Morning Glory, The Bends, Urban Hymns and countless others came out after that, I have to disagree. Since the turn of the millennium it's been pretty miserable, though.
@insideoutface Il tell ya wats wrong with people.. there all off listinin to fuckin justin bieber and fucking one direction. its jus madness.. this is raw rock n fuckin roll :D
Def Maybe was balls to the walls rock and roll. Sorry to say, but pretty much everything after this had one or two songs on cranked up distortion, but mostly songs that had a Coldplay soft rock feel.
Some next men and girls should be working out to this in the gym. What a tune.
Mrs. Gallagher should bang their heads together in fromt of their friend 'Ricksta the hat' and say " Noel sort ya brother out and get him singing again"
Next single should be called "Ringo is a knob end"
One of those pure rock album's that I can listen from first to last song. There are not many album's for me where you find 10-11 fast, full of guitar's, originally and tematically to this genre, tracks that are all 'as a whole'. One of this are surely Nirvana's 'Nevermind' (though I find it sad, and so, difficult to hear), or Sex Pistols 'Nevermind the bollocks..'. I do not even come to find ten (decent) albums considering the last 50 years. And that's why I consider this the greatest Rock album
I really dig the guitar on this song. That is what really makes it a great song. The lyrics aren't on the level of "What's the Story Morning Glory" (the album) but overall great song.
I am mad. I don't appreciate great music. I must go and press the dislike button. Oh, it looks like there are at least tewlve other insane people out there.
Easily one of their best tracks. Always loved this. Raw and fresh. Just what Oasis were when they came on the scene. It all went down hill from the second album for me though i'm afraid.
@NateSpurs It went downhill went doctors told them to stop taking drugs. Drugs was their medicine, believe it or not. Their coked out years were their prime years.
Columbia was the name of the hotel from which the whole band was barred from, because Liam and bonehead threw a tv through an upstairs window into the car park.
This song is named after the Columbia hotel in London, from which the whole band was barred from staying in because Liam and bonehead threw a tv out of the window.
....live forever, slide away, supersonic, cigs and alc ,columbia rock n roll star, bring it on down.......them songs alone are epic the fucking nuts..... and all from there first album!!!!! FUCK you blur wankers....go back to university,,,this iS THE REAL DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@papajorgio101 Well a lot of musical roots in the USA date right back to Scottish and Irish folk music from immigrants. I'm not going to get in an argument because you do know your stuff very well unlike the majority of so called American music critics, and I realise that most great British rock bands from the 60s-70s (the enlightenment period I think) were inspired by Americans like Chuck Berry and Elvis.
