omg i have photoshop cs4 and when i try open swift 3Dps it comes up an error: The installer is intended for machines running x64 operating systems.

and then everything closes.. any ideas??? :(

you have a x86 machine (64 bit pc) try another installer like the x86 installer

Just found out about Adobe Configurator to make your own custom panels, but I can't seem to open Swift 3D in there either. How did you do this?

I just got the trial, but I can't seem to open it in Photoshop. I installed it correctly (it goes automatically to the right folder) and I see it @ filters, but it remains grey. I also don't get it in the upper right corner like you have. Any suggestions about what I am doing wrong?

Any layer can be selected from the layer palette before launching the plug-in. It can be 2D or 3D. It will create a new layer if you choose Launch from New Layer, but an existing layer still needs to be selected in order for the plug-in to be enabled.
