  • whoever said that GOD dosen't accept classic hip-hop needs to stop the serious angelic head boppin going on in heaven right now... XD

  • @ConsciousT

God accepts all praise to him

  • This chorus is very much alike Mc Lyte's "not with a dealer" if you are familiar with the song. Just a switch in wordplay basically.

Other then that I must say God bless the Ambassador that was something to hear. I can only wish to be so blessed by the Lord to sing a song like this.

  • Children, your hair is not kinky, it is woolly like your brother Jesus. - Prophet Noble Drew Ali (PBUH)

  • I can only imagine how some heavenly Angelic forces are reacting to this track right now....Probably Bobbing their heads slightly along with their majestic wings feeling the human God effect....Probably saying themselves, Wow! What Divine Funk This Is?

  • @bigflair001 Amen brother :)

    YUP THIS MY THEME SONG

I USED TO SMOKE DRINK SNORT SLANG DRUGS AND FORNICATE BUT JESUS CHANGED MY LIFE 4 THE BETTER I GOT SAVED ON MAY-7-2010

IF I WAS WILLING TO GIVE MY LIFE 4 A GANG I'M MORE THAN WILLING TO GIVE EVERYTHING I GOT 4 MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS!

N THATS TRUE FOLKS DO TAKE KINDNESS 4 WEAKNESS BUT I GOT GOD MY SIDE NOW I DON'T NEED A STRAP O WATCH MY BACK WHATEVER HAPPENS ITS BECAUSE HE LET IT HAPPEN LET HIS WILL BE DONE NOT MINE.

    I SERVED SATAN TO LONG!!

  • @lolcantgetme yup it do bro ya hear that kids it takes a real man 2 be nice and soft and confess his sins i go through life like that now

  • @lolcantgetme I know you commented on here a long time ago but I just wanted to praise you for figuring out what a man is. I am 16 and though some people may give me credit it's taken me a bunch of dumb stuff to figure out what a man is. And there's still so much to learn. But even the little things like doing my best in school. So many people think because they can get with a lot of women makes them more manly but it's the opposite. It takes a man to resist temptation. much cred 2 u. keep livin

  • This is a pure classic! Listening to this brought back memories.

Now I listen to a variety of Gospel. But when I first got saved, I could not listen to traditional Gospel. But thanks be to God that He allowed me to hear this CD (Christology). I started out listening to CrossMovement, and as my faith grew stronger in the Lord, I eventually branched out to different types of Gospel.

That is why people shouldnt bash gospel rap. For some, its the only way they can listen to gospel music.

  • where you get this cd from

  • iTunes got it all.

  • I use to be athiest Jesus 'saved' me I have never been so content in my life, that void I felt has gone.

  • Thats nice. I'm an atheist and I don't feel no void at all, plus I'm happy.

I guess its true for people of all beliefs, including those with lack of faith.

  • i'm glad your happy but God has great plan for your life. ud be surprised how much good He can do you. just think about it...

  • No thanks. I breathe pure reality only.

    Like Richard Dawkins said:

"By disclaiming the idea of a next life, we can take more excitement in this one."

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones. Most people are never going to die, because they are never going to be born. The number of people who could be here in my place outnumbers the sand grains of Sahara."

  • No disrespect, but how is Naturalism "Pure reality"?

As a side note, Dawkins' comment is nonsensical. Read in the inverse, it says:

"Those who will never be born are unlucky because they will never experience existing (i.e. living and dying)." Or again: "We are lucky because we experience existence, unlike those who don't exist." What?

I understand what he's trying to say, but this is just silliness. Is he promoting a hedonistic worldview? How does Christianity Biblically de-value this life?

  • Well, maybe a hedonistic worldview is not as bad as a egocentric worldview. Thats what Christianity promotes. "We must care about ourselves and our Church because we want multiple benefits."

And yes. We're lucky and we must make the most of it... Everybody has the freedom to choose. I personally think that our life is too precious to waste our time with some bullshit penance for something that we're not even historically responsible for...

  • I don't know what you're referring to, man, but that's not Christianity. Christ taught a form of self-sacrifice so extreme that only He could do it and that by believing in His self-sacrifice for my sins your sins and the sins of the world, you and me and everyone we know can have eternal life. Btw, Hedonism IS an entirely egocentric philosophical worldview. Biblical Christianity is not in any way egocentric.

  • Those laws don't apply to me. And the funny thing is that I'm easily less hedonistic than a lot of so called Christians. I don't need religion to have my values, ethics and morals.

Since the beginning, religion has divided us as human factions. And I'm not referring to the racism that was experienced in religions, I'm referring to the holly wars, the crusades, the multiple conflicts between all major and lesser religions. It's just non-sense.

And I respect women value a lot. Christianity do not.

  • Dude, I'm not beefin with you. I'm just pointing out that its completely false to say that Christianity is an egocentric worldview, and kind of silly when Naturalism is Hedonistic AND Egocentric.

  • I think you should probably examine your generalizations, immortal. While I can't speak for other religions, I can say this: What Christianity teaches and what megalomaniacs do in the name of Christianity (or in the name of Communism, atheism, or, even, Buddhism) two vastly different things. Even evolutionary theory has been used to divide people, justify slavery, and promote and justify genocide. Social Darwinism and Nazi Eugenics are two prominent examples. The heart of man is the issue.

  • Well I agree with you on that point of view, sometimes we shouldn't blame an association because of their followers.

I don't know if you consider yourself a Roman Catholic, but anyway, they represent the majority of the Christian History, and as you know, that history is kinda fucked up with all the high ranking scandals, corruption, hate and pretty much everything that is conceivable... Most forms of Christianity just derived from the Catholic, after the Great Chasm. And what about women?

  • I'm not a Catholic; I follow the Bible (i.e. Reformed Theology. lol After a certain point, Catholics placed more emphasis on their traditions than on the Bible, which is ironic because Jesus HATED the traditions of men for that very reason: they pushed people away from God by hiding the Word of God from them (note: the Catholic Church enjoyed keeping people illiterate).

  • As far as women go, Christianity is all about women. Many of Jesus' followers were women with whom he had a teacher-student relationship. At that time, and even today in Orthodox Judaism, this was an acceptable thing to do. Also, the first witnesses to Christ's empty tomb were women. Jews back then, and Orthodox Jews today, didn't count the word of a woman as a credible witness, but Christianity did/does. The wife is even a symbol of the Church in the New Testament.

  • correction:

"At that time, and even today in Orthodox Judaism, this was NOT an acceptable thing to do."

  • Heres some of the biblical passages that disturb many women (and men):

    Genesis 3:16

    Leviticus 12:2-5

    Corinthians 11:7-10

    Corinthians 14:34-35

    Ephesians 5:22-24

  • Read Genesis 1:26-27. Man and woman were given dominion over the animals, not over one another. After the Fall, woman's labor (i.e. her natural role as nurturer) would still exist, though in a very marred way; just as Adam's labor (i.e. his natural role as cultivator of the earth and provider) would still exist, although in a very marred way. If you want a technical paper on the specifics on how to properly interpret Gen.3:16: google "WOMAN'S DESIRE FOR MAN:GENESIS 3:16 RECONSIDERED" by BUSENITZ

  • Yes, but what about the current Church position about women? Why don't we have priestesses (and/or papesses)?

We don't even have a single candidate... Its like if the female is seen as a lesser individual who can't have a voice and govern the Church, and therefore can have only lesser roles like being a nun and similar low hierarchy roles. Oh and since you talk about the bible, It does discriminate the common women. It says that women should be subservient to men. Like it was for centuries now!

  • The issue of whether or not women should be ordained is an issue that has been debated for a long time. Some say that the New Testament verse on women speaking in the church were socio-culturally relevant, but do not extend beyond the time for which they written. There are others who state that every individual has been created to display the glory of God in a variety of ways. Man does this in one way; Woman does it in another way; Animals do it another way, etc.

  • Roman catholicism was merely the most politically powerful form of Christianity.

Christianity existed before the Romans converted and Christians were persecuted almost up until they were. Eventually some of the minimalist ideas that had been dominant prior to the Roman Catholic Church took shape in the form of the Protestant Reformation.

  • @immortaltechpt

Christianity started 300 years before the Roman Catholic Church existed.

The Roman Catholic Church came into existence only at the point at which Ancient Rome adopted Christianity, and if you'll recall, it was Rome that crucified Christ and then persecuted his followers the early Christians.

  • @periechontology that is my opinion too. Where did you read me saying the opposite?

  • Yay, i love christian hip hop.
