one question about boxes, if you use more then the recomended port lenght in a slighly larger then reccomended box will it lower the Hz? and should i reinforce the port tub when i put it in for better SQ, or leave it hanging?

i have one of those 10" dubs with the carboncone at least, i only bought it becouse it was cheap and it can supposidly handle notes down to ~27hz. and i have an 12 MTX 4500 pushing them is an old rockford 550S im hoping to get a car with a bigger trunk than my 94stang to load with WATTS.

i got OEM parts on mine but the tranny was rebuilt. Never had a single issue with the car.

Alright i have two alpine type r's hooked up to an Alpine MRP M850 i know this amp is only powering them to half of what they could be im lookin to find another amp to hook up along with this one anyone know any amps they know power these nicely any recommendations?
