Sprinkle Rice/cream of wheat/any food that expands with water around any unwanted ant hill.. The ant will consume the food, the food will make them swell/dehydrate them, and eventually make them burst.

They actually sting. When I get bored in the field, I let them sting me and i'll put it before it even does anything. They will sting you, but it will take about 5 seconds before it will actually inject venom because it has to push trhough ur skin.
