Hypothetically the german-english errors (though I think they were also meant to capture the essence of germanic-style prose into american-style; easier non germanic readers) or embellishments were going to be edited? But in the end, they're all the same book :)

So much of this is never heard... in most stuff I've studied through my life on WWII and nazis, I've gathered enough to see that this was an undercurrent, but its never admitted to and even if alluded to, no one makes a POINT of any of it. Any good German family was expected to have his book in their home as a sign of allegiance to the Fuhrer. This duplicates Mao's behavior or I should say Mao duplicated Hitler's behavior.

@AgouraMo meh you are wrong with both mao and hitler. hitler's high casualties in camps was caused by war. it has also been proven that the 50 million who died under mao were mainly due to famine that occurred in 1958. in fact mao only executed a few hundred people because he himself opposed execution. also stalin did not kill 50 million. he only killed 3 million. the rest died of diseases, wars etc. like in hitler's camps.

@AgouraMo Im aware of the Tiergartenstrasse program. To my understanding it was based more in the psychiatric field as alot of it relates to the eugenics movement originally starting in america,cover a period of time resorted in killing 70,000 people who were deamed mentally ill. i was wondering if you could provide me a source for your information as i have not got any evidence provided stating the program was setup for anti-polictical reasons. @SoulsOfThePure: No it involved a broad spectrum of disorders that disqualified people from being Aryan. The issue of wounded soldiers was brought out as an issue as well. Try: "The Nazi Doctors" by Robert Jay Lifton...a very scholarly work with over 600 pages including nearly 60 pages of sources and notes. I stated that Dachau was designed for political opponents. @mavincho It's the choice between individual freedom and progress of the state. Finding a balance is something that societies have been trying to find for many years. But at the end of the day, you have to choose what is more important. And it seems that if you're anyone but a politician, you'd want more individual freedom.

The Nazis were not socialists, despite the name. This guy is full of shit. The myth of the holocoust? There's no myth, it happened. The swastika was just a symbol. The third riech used symbols from other civilizations such as the Romans for instance. Any system of government that needs to target a section of their population with hate is not a legitimate government.
