@DisorderJack No, this was never in an episode (though it would have been awesome if it was). It was part of the original set of commercials that USA did to promote the show before it came out. I think they also did a couple with Monk.

@SingenStattAtmen its this thing that the usa network has. it means that no matter who/what you are, you're accepted. we're all characters, whether we're white,brown etc. does that make sense?

there's an usa network characters welcome advert on youtube, you should check it out. it sort of explains it. better than me, probably. plus james roday is in it. so thats a bonus..
