Korean, Chinese, and Japan have had a lot of interaction with each other in the past. Wars, trade, and stuff like that. We traded lots of things like craft and languages and formed our individual way of doing things. For Korea, language was one thing they got out of the other countries and made their own. The old Korean is hard to learn, so one of the rulers made a new language from Chine so it was easier to learn. A little history lesson :D
