hi i have got one of these subs and am now going to get another 1 like you, how you have made the box with the small ports is that any good?are you getting the most out of them with ports that small? im thinking of getting a lanzar opti amp aswell whats the best one to power 2 of these subs the 2000d,4000d,6000d? thanks
@philgsi7 the ports worked fine like that...i tihnk it would of been better off with 1 big port but space was limited and that was the only way we could port it. and ive never used any of the optidrive amps...i originally ordered the 2000d but it was on backorder at the time for like 4 months so i went with hifonics amps...great combination...
@97regalbass i like them..they dont need alot of airspace compared to most other 15s. they are built solid. and i beat the hell out of mine for a year and a half and have never had a problem with them. i have definetly changed a few ppls minds about lanzar when i compete
@97regalbass i paid $460 for the pair...and the last time i metered i did 143db @ 35hz....i added 2 batteries in the trunk but never had it metered with the batteries. wasnt bad for a trunk build...but now im putting 4 of those 15's in a wall with 4800 watts @ 1 ohm
@97regalbass the car has changed alot since then. check out the newer video. and also the car is undergoing a major system re-build. should be done within the next month
box is way 2 small dude wat is that 4 cubes for 2 15's build a new box 3.5-5 cubes and take 1 of those subs out or build a wall and see it how loud it is then
@Kee2smart i know its too small...thats the biggest we could put in there without walling it...its right around 3.5 cubes...its alot louder now just havent had any updated videos in a while...the car looks totally different now....
i know it's a small car that's y i would suggest u just run one sub in the optimal space box it'll be way louder man trust me if u need a box built u got the right one i'm in Tuscaloosa,Alabama and i'll make that 1 sub wand i promise u it'll be the loudest single sub setup u've ever heard
hi am running 1 of these subs on a 1300 rms amp and it keeps tripping my 100 circuit breaker so am gna get a new one any ideas what size breaker i should get 150,200,250?thanks
very nice system im running 1 of these in a slot ported box putting 1300rms through it,it is real loud bass would love to have 2 in a double box like this is it loud?what amp you running these on?
@philgsi7 at the time i was only putting about 500 watts per sub...i bought a hifinics brz2400.1d amp...now im doing 1200 watts per sub....and its really loud now....ill be posting more videos within the next month...been about 24 hours away from my car for the past 6 months
