@raheimthedreamable Raiden and Snake met during the "Plant Incident" in MGS2 after the "Tanker Incident" also in MGS2. Together they stopped Metal Gear Ray and Solidus. Raiden fought for Solidus when he was a child. But Raiden NEVER evolved from Snake, they just met each other saving the world (as usual).

@lp342 Sorry for the late response, this is because it has multiple people in it. It's a tendancy for a lot of games, even Bad Company 2 they toned down the destruction in Multiplayer for the sake of lag. Having to render things like destruction, or everything depends on how good a person's connection is. If the graphics were MGS4 like there would be some major lag issues. Uncharted 2 is also the same, they use lower render characters so there is less lag when playing the game and less process.
