the song selection was great, as were the clips used in most cases. the clips were synced up ok (better than most definitely) but there were some points were doing more would have really helped the general feel of the video.

I'd choose being shot before I'd ever choose having the life sucked out of me. Being shot is quicker & less painful(assuming you die instantly, which is possible with being shot).
I think Bob was in season 1's "The Siege". He'd infiltrated Atlantis & beat up Bates. Teyla had hit him earlier & so she was a suspect but Bob attacked Sheppard. But Ford & Teyla rescued him. Bob ended up being shot to death by Sheppard because he wouldn't tell him if he'd sabotaged Atlantis. This was before the Wraith fleet arrived.

This was an awesome video! The song totally suits this show perfectly. Not to mention, it went extremely well with the clips you chose, also. Liked it a lot.
