The fact was that she was very selfish. I love her as a character but you can't deny what she did and her willingness to do just about anything (murder, steal, etc.) to get Sweeny Todd to be with her was very selfish. She's one of my favorite female villans besides Harley Quinn X-D.

Ah i understand you. In the book Mrs. Lovett is increadably evil, just as bad as Sweeney really. In the movie she is more sweet though... I mean you could see she grew attached to Toby. Then of course she felt like she still had a chance with Mr. Todd and had wanted Toby to be killed -_- She could have been safe, and happy... she knew Sweeney would never be hers. She may be selfish, but you have to admit.. it's tragic she never got into that dream she had of being with Sweeney.

Hey! sorry to bug you, but please i would greatly appreciate responses for these questions. 1) How do you make someone talk while they're sitting, cause Sweeney looks like you somehow made him talk without making it an involuntary action. what i mean is- how do you make them (optionally) talk? 2) How on earth did you make Sweeney Sit???

The only thing i can think of is making him stargaze and then you make him talk (however you make him talk) but that wouldnt work properly.

On the site modthesims2 there's a pose box you can download which gives you're people the poses I had em in. Plus theres a box that you can make them talk on demand. all the oven is is walls with an archway *shrugs* the fire is simply fire xD. Sweeney didn't actually stuff her into the oven in the game, he simply shoved her. I went then to a different camera gnle, and found ananimation to make her fall.. its all a trick of editing

haha hmm well it's like this, the blood looks fake, but the fear of the events is what makes you flinch... the whole idea of it is absoloutly brutal, and you may feel a little sick the first time, i did. But thinking about it, the movie was beautiful, and very interesting-who would thinka musical could be created out of such a morbid plot? xD So it is bloody, but after the first time watching it you graudually get used to it especially when you find out how they made those scenes look that way

yup ^^ It seriously is a great movie. Once again I'm not really a fan of the extreme violence, though in some scenes, it's humerous in this... dark humor I guess you can say. I love how like.. even at the scenes when Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney are dancing together-it's odd how haunting it really is, just by seeing them dancing around, talking about baking people into pies. It's quite amazing the feeling you get when watching this. Sometimes I'd get goosebumps, cause the music is so amazing [=
