  • I like this program. It gives you tons of ideas on how to recycle old clothes and making them into your own, or at least making something out of it.

    Cheers! From S.E. Asia!

  • i want some thread... i am seriously out of freakin thread ang i need it to finish end of the school year gifts.

  • Lee has such a lovely smile!

  • oh my gosh! i love dollar store crafts! too cool dude! :D

  • the sweater shes wearing is kinda ugly :O

  • kinda? it IS ugly...

  • Didn't I see her in a Where's Waldo picture?

  • omg she cute! the green sweater!

  • I love it <3 i got a nice sweater now =D

  • Threadbanger... let me see you in HD...puh-leeeez!!

  • I already have a sewing machine and don't have the money to buy another one, but I would like the thread. so is there a way?

  • It's a common misconception that shrinking a pre-made sweater is called felting when it's really called FULLING. FELTING is another equally awesome arts and crafts form that takes raw wool to create things like clothes or 3d objects.

  • lol :D

  • Could this work with a sweater that I crocheted?

  • if the yarn is wool

  • wool....not vegan but cool vid

  • hey u guys I have a question???? can u do that project with a cashmere sweater that I have and don't fit me anymore! U think it will work!!!! Please answer my question!!! Love the final product!!!!

  • Yes, you can do it with a cashmere sweater!

  • Thanks I'm going to try it!!! But I have to felt the sweater before or not??? well it's really small already!!!! Thanks a lot u guys!!!!

  • most modern wools are treated so they don't felt.....

  • that is why you find vintage or horrible 80's sweaters in thriftstores.

    Recycle, Reuse, Reproduce

  • This just gives me more of a reason to go to Portland. I NEED MORE THRIFT STORES!

  • It would be neat if you guys could do a tutorial on tank-top dresses (the kind of dress where you basically add a bottom layer to a tank-top or T-shirt).

  • hey my first comment on one of ur vids! ^_^ so anyways, i'm a really bit extrime eco-chick, and i've found ways on youtube to knit or crochet with plastic bags and turn plastic bags into a cloth-like substance, but i don't know how to crochet, and i'm not sure how to use my cloth-like stuff. i've been working on turning it into a small notebook because it's durable, but i'd love to WEAR something. could you PLEASE post a how-to on crocheting and one on making ur own patterns? DIY OR DIE!!

  • If you look through their video archives, they have a few crochet tutorials. Also, you can go to Expert Village on Youtube in order to find just about a million videos on crocheting different projects and how to make every stitch in existence. Good luck!

  • aww i cant do the sweater!!! (no animal products 4 vegans)

  • I understand your issue but you can find old sweaters made out of a wool mimic.. pretty cheep and it does the same thing

  • hey i love your videos i was wondering if you guys could show how to make an off the shoulder tee with old t-shirts i attempted to make one and failed miserably

  • Portland OREGON!!! Thats my State Sweeeet!

And they are telling the truth its one of the best citys ever.

  • YES<3

  • about getting a machine-I put an ad on our local freecycle pleading for a decent machine and I got 3 offers of a machine. I accepted one from a seamstress who had upgraded to a brand new electronic model and she gave me her used industrial machine-which works like a dream. I love it! I took it in once to get cleaned and oiled which cost me $15 and that is all i put into it. Try putting an ad on your local free cycle or craigslist for one, you never know what you might get. worked for me.

  • Great advice! Freecycle ROCKS.

  • Portland, Oregon. It is an awesome city. Anyplace where coffee shops and book stores abound is cool in my book. Plus, it's called the city of roses, and my name is Rose, so it's pretty much awesome.

  • Lee Meredith is so high in the video! lol

  • Portland, Maine?

  • No- Portland, Oregon.

  • Also, Rob, I really like your shirt. Did you make that?

  • The last few tutorials were sub par, but I actually really liked this one. It's simple and easy for anyone to do

  • tight i love it... i cant wait to chop some of my old shtuff up.. thanks... gotta love P-town the art scene is insane.. love the creativity... peace.

  • Sweettttttt! I LOVE that sweater!

    *to do list*

  • That was an awsome episode!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Rob & Corrine "pop-up"! Perfect timing and very helpful....I was at that moment asking aloud: "What the heck is felting?"

    Thanks guys! :-)

  • I am going to try this project

  • Geeeeawd.

Rob you have the most gorgeous eyes.

And I am so jealous of your cheek bones, Corinne.

    And that sweater is adorable.

Be even cooler if it were a different color, and you added some different patches of fabric, and some extra buttons. :]

  • Umm... thanks! lol.

And as for adding onto the sweater, it depends on your style. If I were making this sweater, I would use a bunch of different buttons.

  • Great video!

but once again were on "how to make clothes go smaller"....

now can u post some video of a + size clothes? or how to make clothes fit a + size?

  • Sorry to be random here, but in the beginning it looks like Corinne has practically no eyebrows!! Haha but cute sweater :)

  • I know that girl, Heather Mann! I know her... kinda, she is in a swap I'm organizing! awesome!
