@mixmaster2669 yh for sure garcia is the the best no-gi grappler in the world but the best at overall jiu jitsu (gi and no-g/mma jiu jitsu) is roger gracie garcia sed THAT himself may be im a bit biased because i train at roger gracie academy
I find that comment "this is his only thing" comment to be pretty rude. I understand the guy wanted to console Jake, but Marcelo's "only thing" is being one of the best grapplers of all time.
I love how people try to justify why Marcelo Garcia beats them. It's "only" because of this or he "only" won because of that, or have him take me on in "this" and see how good he does. Couldn't it just be that Marcelo is THAT friggin' good? Come on', give the guy some credit. He's a super mellow guy, and he's just super freak when it comes to grappling.
"This is his whole world" Last I checked sheilds is known for his grappling and has about the same level striking as marcelo.
