  • what track brand do you use? Hornby and Peco?

  • @plagovei Most of the track is modern Hornby nickel silver, but the points are older 1970's "System 6" with steel rails. They connect quite well with the modern track, they are not my favourite points but I'm using them to let through some of the older loco's with deeper wheel flanges.

  • great loco very unreabile at times

  • @eoin730 This one was made in the early eighties ( I believe ) and it's only got 4 wheel pick up, even then there is still too much weight on the driving wheels leaving the cab end a bit light.

  • @janiceandcliff its nice but not that strong

  • @eoin730 Yes, I knew when I bought it that it wouldn't pull many carriages, but I do allow myself some interesting one-off's.

  • @janiceandcliff yea its good to buy thing that look nice

  • Very interesting video, lots of good takes, particularly nearing the end. Seeing your finger appearing to change the points made me giggle.

  • @heather1989 Glad you enjoyed it, I seem to like putting my "stamp" on things.
