She's conceited because she got this delusion in her head that she is some type of soul sista. In my opinion I believe she tries to hard and comes out to strong in trying to sell herself as a soul singer. She needs to cool herself with this soul fever. Soul is from within.

India Arie has massive amounts of soul within her but I don't see her getting hyper and ranting about soul.

Refreshing Honesty. I met her after a show when she was 16 and she was lovely, so unaffected. It's good to know she's still being so true to herself, just a shame that the media seem to be turning on her as they turn on anyone who doesn't fit the mould or play their game.
