The thing about the universe being a single spoken sentence is not completly true. It is true that God did speak light into existance maybe even other space time forces but to say it was all spoken is not true he actually took time to make the rest of the universe some things may have taken longer than others but he actually made it. Even if it was spoken into existance how does he know it was just a single sentence. It wasn't just spoken as was said.

On Kent Hovind's disbelief of what he calls "chemical evolution" (the formation of all elements heavier than hydrogen and helium): Hovind claims that stars can't fuse past iron. That's correct. But any heavier elements than iron are fused in the massive supernova explosions that end the lifetimes of high mass stars.
So to answer his question of, "So how do you get uranium?" -- you get it during supernova explosions. Those explosions have enough force to fuse all elements heavier than iron.

First of all. Death has a sting. One cannot murder a child of god. BUT! The child of god can walk away in his free will from gods mercy by simply rejecting it. Walking away from god can be accomplished by 2 means. First:"opression". Which some call protection. You kill and abuse and stop the abuse and give presents to those who forsake the covenant with their god. This is whats happening in the middle east and it's called jizya and dhimmi status. Now in the west tyrants have little influence.

In the 18th century 2 ideologists in germany invented subjectivism. Which tells us that no human can know the truth. The truth does not exist but in our minds. It is subjective. They left the christian idea that god and the universe can be known. Hence the subjectivist will say that one has to relativate their beliefs to be TOLERANT.. No. On can have his own truth and still respect the truth of others. We used to be able to argue truth, which is called a debate.

This is impossible nowadays because thruth doesn't exist anymore. Everybody has his own subjective opinion and that is something like taste. YOu can't argue it. You can do 2 things. Agree to disagree, or with violance and name calling force your taste unto others. This is the result of subjectivism. It doesn't lead to peace but to war. On multicultural level it leads to balkanisation.

Subjectivism leads to one party (mostly under the pretentions of moral superiority) forcing their will unto others. Objectivity leads to mutual truth discovery.
So all you have to do is don't agree that a mutal truth can be discovered. Then you have lots of accusations. Many things to play moral victor. Examples? Abortion. Homosexuality. Hell for sinners.
So by denying a collective truth we are being deceived that christian morals and values are immoral, improper and belong in history.

The first method i call flattery. You don't kill and abuse them if they forsake their god. Now the second way is when you are weak. Be it software, microchip, medical equipment like camera pills, etc. The everlasting mantra that all scientists believe we're apes... They don't... You'd have to reject all of taxonomy (set up by creationist Linnaeus) which has humans classified in the 'family' Hominidae (Great Apes) and 'order' Primate. Human genomic sequencing (lead by a devout evangelical Protestant -- Dr. Francis Collins) has conclusively shown that humans share a common ancestor with other primates. From endogenous retroviruses to chromosomal fusion, all evidence points to us being apes. Deal with it.

2 Everything has always been here (the stars would go out sometime wouldn't you think?)
3 The big bang (impossible 1st, 2nd law of thermodynamics and conservation of angular momentum).
So it leaves only 1 possibility.. God.

Science rests on methodological naturalism and remains neutral, regarding the alleged "supernatural." All evidence supports the big bang: Hubble's Law, General Relativity, the ratio of the lighter elements (e.g. deuterium, lithium, helium), the blackbody spectrum of cosmic microwave background radiation, etc...It was a Christian who came up with it.

@chriss179 Religions appeal to the supernatural in an attempt to "explain" certain phenomena. Evolution (and science altogether) cannot comment on the supernatural; it remains neutral. There is no "faith" in science, since every claim requires evidence (unlike religion). If I told you, by all means of scientific observation and repeated testing, we know humans cannot walk on water....you'll still believe Peter was able to do it "because the Bible says so." That's called faith.

Atheists formed their own religion in the last 150 years and it found major appeal by the masses because it could finally explain (with fairytales and lies) natural phenomena without a god being part of it. Historically being atheist meant being antigonistic against all rational explanations because they were ALL formed around god(s).
