i noticed you changed context alex cause when i watched this i noticed there was errors on yours .this must be a bit were you done a good one already made

and dont forget to close your php tags before you code your form, alex was using code he pre made before the tut , not what he wrote out durring the tut . i see several errors in his script that should of messed it up.

If your having problems try just putting one equal sign on the 3rd line of code,idk how alex gets his code to run with all these errors ,but dont be discouraged.

Hi. Great tutorial. I wanted to ask ... Isn't it better for you if you were using a proper PHP IDE instead of Text Editor with highlights? I mean, i am a webmaster too ( not as good as you are. I have to admit :) ). I am very impressed how do you remember all the declarations, variables and functions. Can you please tell me what editor type is best to use?

How can i set the $_SESSION['username']

from $_SESSION['username']="alex";

to anybody that registers and log in my website

because im having problems with this video tutorial.

What i exactly want to ask is how can i set that not only for "alex" but for each and every user that logs in.

you'd have to set the $_SESSION through a log-in script. Once a user logs in, assign them a session.
