Damn, I keep finding myself turning the volume down when he's talking, which is really loud, and then turning it up when the "journalist" whispers.

I plugged the PC-output into my guitar rack, and used the compressor so that the journalist and the mixer where at the same level.

Mixing, it completes everything.

finally somebody who understand, that the finished product is what makes and breaks. everybody wants these fat break down guitar riffs and chugging and what not... yet they have no idea how every instrument harmonizes together to create the finished product.
