i have a six speed challenger srt 8 with procharger with nittos drag radials this is the key ...warm the tires up and then feather the clutch and launch at 2100 to 3000rpm 0 to 60 in the 4's all day high 3's possible with an experienced driver
i got a question a/b six speeds in general. b/c reverse is normally next to 1st, or 6th, or 5th, how do you shift so as not to confuse the gear with reverse?

If you are a Mustang fan and you're watching this video, it is pretty obvious that you are worried about the challenger; whether it is faster or not. I have been looking at buying a used Shelby Gt 500, but it is not an easy call by any stretch by someone who is not totally bias. The Shelby has a little more performance(stock), but the challenger has a better sounding engine(if you have driven both), and lots more room

@swedishmax Another reason I say to think about is say someone is interested in paying a ridiculous amount of money for the car down the road. They will possibly ask since it is supercharged is it a hurst edition? When you say no that could really hurt the mans interests. Those Hurst challengers very few and i mean VERY few were made. I would love to get one my self but I kind of have my eyes set on the GT-500 mustang in the next few years. Maybe think about taking the charger off.

I understand you want to go faster because all car guys like us want to but you likely hurt your chances to make money off the car down the road if you choose to take that route. Still a great car but think about that.
@swedishmax Also many do not realize stock engines are not made to run on superchargers. They can but it increases the rate the engine breaks down because of compression rate. The only way to change the compression is to have the heads shaved. I do not want to seem like I am being rude. I would just hate your money being blown when it was well spent on a great car because of a supercharger.

What is so special about 0-60? Ive driven a Mustang GT500 at 100mph and a 2000 S500 Mercedes and the Mercedes was beyond more comfortable and felt much more stable...I dont get why people care about being a rice rocket nerd for 4.85 seconds.

In California, we have 87/89/91 octane fuels, due to the California Air Resources Board wanting to limit pollution (we have HORRIBLE air quality due to the Central Valley locking in all the smog from the Bay Area). The rest of the U.S. has 89/91/93 octane ratings.

The new GTR is low 3's, the Porsche 911 GT2 is around the same, as is the Ferarri. The fucking Bugatti veyron with 1001 hp, and 4 turbos does it in about 2.5 seconds. Your SRT-8 weighs as much as the Veyron and it has 560+ less hp. You really think your actual 0-60 is in that range. Keep stroking yourself dipshit. lol
