Thank you for these Truths from this Scripture. These words are something. This Prince was made out of the dust of the ground, yet he dared not only to think but to say that he was God! Satan also wanted to be like God. Satan cast doubt about God and put his falsehood in the place of God's Truth. The points to be learned from the Exposition were very good. May I feel at home with humbleness of heart! May I walk more and more in God's path and obey Him. Thank you.
The words of the Prince of Tyrus - "I am god" were shocking indeed. Your Sermon from this text was very good to hear today. It was striking that Satan casts doubt about GOD; and that he puts his falsehood in the place of GOD'S Truth. When Satan is believed, lies are put in place of Truth. But when GOD is believed, humbleness of heart is sure to follow. How true what you said--you cannot follow GOD with a proud heart.
It's really something to think that just building lies and doubts in our mind about GOD can keep us away from GOD & even causes us to make ourselves a god because we are denying HIM as the One True GOD and putting ourselves above HIM. But humbleness of heart causes us to confess our sins & believe in THE SAVIOUR. We have to distrust self, not GOD! How we need GOD to help us to be humble & walk in HIS way & not our own way. Thank you, Preacher, for another very enlightening & powerful Sermon!
