You all have it wrong! Rampone was the most consistent player in the cup! Her intelligence on the field proved to be superior to any other US player. Did u see her use anticipation as well as position to eliminate Marta's chance of a one on one with Solo during the Brazil match? Marta pulled Rampone down to the ground! It deserved a yellow. Marta's 25 and in her prime and Rampone's 38 with children. Rampone deserves much credit as well. Lloyd and Boxx are too slow and hold onto the ball too long

@triggerman77 Rampone was amazing this tournament.....Only the bad tactics against Sweden made her look back, because she was everywhere this tournament, although Lloyd should have been sent off against Brazil though for the hand ball.

@TWDtv There was no production in the center mid throughout the tourney ( Llyod and Boxx). The only production out of the midfield were the wings with Rampinoe and Cheney. Cheney needs to play center mid. she has great anticipation and sees the entire field. Just watch the games! She was in the right place at the right time everytime it seemed. That's not luck but instinct! She is a play maker! Remember my words, she will be starting center mid next important game for either Boxx or Llyod!!!!

@davlor86 yep right, thats y espn has a benchwarmer up there with hope. rampinoe was clearly more valuable than morgan but she too belongs on the AM dial doing the dan patrick show. being HOT is more important than skill or talent. i bet heather mitts will soon start making the rounds along with hope and morgan. shannon boxx, abby and rampinoe will all be booked on radio shows.
