  • omg thank you for doing this video. You are soo blessed to have a direct linkage to Africa and to know where you come from. I am African Amercian and I dream of going there to live one day. Been there once to Kenya and dream of the day I get to go back. Looks like you cousin Jackson was having a wonderful time I bet he cried when you all left. Great vid!

  • Awesome video...love it and proud to be a Liberian

  • @daninstlouis26 thanx 4 watching :)

  • @ChildofJehova89 thank u, same 2 u, God bless

  • So good to see you talking about Liberia. My woman is there, in Monrovia. You are absolutely right-our media here in the US doesn't like to report on happenings in any African country-good or bad. And you are SO right, most people have NO CLUE about Liberia or any other African countries, and our media assumes people will change the channel if they report news from Liberia.

  • I knew a guy who went to Africa for mission work. He went in a pool of water and died 1 week later. He caught some parasite.

The things that live in water there will fuck you up good. LOOK OUT.

  • You go girl! U betta rep!!! Lol this is why when ppl ask where im from, i now identify myself as a liberian because im proud ... Despite what comments i might get afterwards. I love i liberia and i hope to someday visit ( as i was not born there but my parents were) and when i do... I WILL MAKE IT A HUGE deal and bring a whole bunch of stuff with me... It sickens me how ignorant people are these days but i know its not their fault...well most of them anyways and it makes me mad when i see ppl

  • THANKS SIS I REALLY LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER. I LEFT MONROVIA, LIB AT AGED 13 , DEC 24TH 1989 AND NEVER BEEN BACK. THANKS VERY MUCH. I AM JUST AFRAID TO INVEST MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK HOME BEFORE THOSE MONEY HUNGRY, NON CARING BITCHES START AN OTHER WAR AND TAKE MY STUFF.

  • @dj2soup Thanx 4 watching and commenting :) I can understand being afraid, my mom left 1980 and my dad left 1975. Now they're staring to invest little by little. Liberia has a long way to go but we have come a long way as well :)

  • @blesspaye Does GB stand for gbasayama?

  • Thank you for posting this video. I might be going to Monrovia and Ganta this upcoming January and after watching this video and I am even more excited! Are there any local delicacies specific to Monrovia (or Liberia) that I should try while I am there?

  • @srmicheltube Thanx so much for watching! I really do appreciate it. I hope you will be able to go and see the country first hand for yourself you know. Food wise I love fufu and soup, palm butter and rice, and cassava leaf and rice, those are my faves, but if you have anything, def have some fufu :)

  • LibE. u shoulda play sum lib music. Great video tho.. I luv 8. There r so many beauti4 places in lib that we suppose to be showing instead of showing negative images of our beauti4 country. I appreciate pepo like u. Thnx 4 sharing peace out! Jah bless!

  • @Marco50ty lol I knew someone was going to say that :) Thank you so much! You're right Liberia does have alot of beautiful places, it truly does.

  • Thank you so much for sharing - it helped open my eyes because as you stated sometimes the only image we see is what "THEY" choose to show us on TV. Thank you - thank you !!!

Jackson was a "Star" and that picture of you on the beach was cute !!!!

Liberia is absolutely beautiful - thank you again this was an eye "opener".

  • @Zsalaco thank u so much for taking the time out to watch it, it honestly means alot <3 Lol Jackson is cute isnt he? Its funny 3 years ago when he was a baby he was terrified of me and mom. Now that he's older, every time we left he would cry :(

  • That was an amazing video! I know exactly what you mean about dealing with negativity and stereotypes... My family is from Haiti, and it's sad to me that most ppl will never know how beautiful it is there, and go on believing the stereotypes... Well, at least some ppl will now have a clue how BEAUTIFUL Liberia is.

  • @damnslim08 thank you so much for your comment <3 My bestie is Haitian too! And you're right is so sad how close minded people can be

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • @welsweetsexy thank you :)
