sticko420: There's no non-permanent way to alter a Slim battery. The only way is by soldering the battery and I don't recommend trying since there is a chance of damaging your battery and hurting yourself.

I converted a ps1 game to an eboot using popstation. It only work for some games. I want to know is why won't it work for my resident evil games. It will freeze after I go though a door. I can still here the music play, but the next area won't load up. What is wrong the psp or the eboot game?

Word to the wise. I went from 3.40CFW to 3.52-4 and then to 3.71-2. When I ran the 1.50 kernel add-on, I kept getting an error. I BELIEVE the custom coldboot I had with 3.40 (and had forgotten about) or perhaps my custom font interfered and mucked things up. But there is now a way to downgrade from 3.71CFW withOUT Pandora. I went back to 3.52-4 and I'm pretty happy with it.

Luemakciba: 3.71 M33 has more toys, 3.40 OE is more compatible with mods and homebrew. It's a personal choice. Any of the recent cfws can play PSX games.

QBS216: No. Pandora has probably stopped most work on downgraders. They take a lot of time to develop and Pandora works on all firmwares so there's no urgency. I have been converting people's batteries into Pandora batteries for $10 including return shipping.
