Are these not the FEMA trailers that were moved into Arkansas or Lousiana after Katrina came through? I think so. I have friends that hauled hundreds of trailers from Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee down to staging areas to be distributed along the Alabama, Mississippi, and Lousiana gulf coast. FEMA temoprary housing storage area. this is NOT a "detention camp" as it has no provisions for waste disposal and water provisions. Note there is very little in the way of security, just a moat and fence to keep out most animals that may damage the units. There are many sites like this because the government went (way) overboard when buying these short term housing units due to a so called contract mistake ( they wanted 200,000 got 2 million, go figure.)

These are FEMA trailers purchased by the government after hurricane Katrina to house all the people who lost their homes in that disaster. i know for a fact what they are because ive been to the ones in Louisiana,Arkansas,Mississippi,Alabama,Georgia,and Oklahoma. Are these not the FEMA trailers that were moved into Arkansas or Lousiana after Katrina came through? I think so. I have friends that hauled hundreds of trailers from Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee down to staging areas to be distributed along the Alabama, Mississippi, and Lousiana gulf coast. These trailers were used as temporary housing after the paper work was completed and land was cleared from debris. This is not a FEMA "camp". Whatever that is supposed to be.

FEMA is there to help out in emergency situations. It makes sense that they would set up readiness centers at key locations though out the country.
