rules the scum bucket lawmakers impose on big trucks like split speed limits and left lanes restrictions

so until I blink my eyes and recover or Jesus comes back I am parked up for everyone's safety

@truckertwotimes My dad drove for 19 years. He quit in 2005. He hated driving a truck. He said traffic and the dispatcher was the main reason he hated it. Good luck to you in the future.

@NLvGvKiLLeR ahhhhh depends on where you want ro run over the road,local or reginel...and depends on what company you want to work for. not all companys are good so you need to do your homework and think about the pay vs off time as far as yearly 35,000 to 45,000 a year..so its pretty good but the only drawbacks of it is you have to put up with the dumb assed 4 wheelers, shippers,consinees,dispatchers­,and D O T..and its great if your single not so good if your married.

@NLvGvKiLLeR it is less than it was several years ago, truckers basically work for minimum wage which is $7.25 and hour or close to it, by the time you unload, wait for dispatch run around a hundred miles or so to reload and run all night to get it there you don't make much as an over the road driver unless you are a union driver I guess they do a little better, but remember the top line is a long ways from the bottom line if you buy eats and drinks at home or on the road and work a 6 or 7 day

Thank Ya Bud, I think the Volvo is more driver friendly than the others because of the storage space being convenient to get to for all over the whole truck

I'm going to work for P.A.M. Transport, and they have Volvo tractors with something called "AUTO SHIFT" Have you ever heard of that and just what is it? Thanks.

I have heard of it, but it is on other american trucks as well. it is just an automatic transmission, it is easier on the clutch.

no too much, a big diesel is an oversized generator, it only hurts for fuel

double clutching is putting the clutch pedal down to take the transmission out of gear and then letting it out while in neutral then putting it back in to put the transmission into another gear
