  • beer bacterias taste like japanese medicine lol

  • maybe its because of raw fish dont go so good with root beer?

  • Dip your cock in it, then give it to them to taste.

  • The phillipino girl is so cute :)

  • I used to despise root beer myself. I became used to the taste and now I love it.

  • Well it's A&W. No fuck they didn't like it. A&W is shit.

    Give them Dad's next time.

  • did one of the girls say "fuck this"?

  • well theyll probably prefer root beer now than radioactive tap water...

  • When i go visit Japan, I shall bring lots of root beer with me to share, for those that want some lol. The minority of the Japanese that like it, well, LIKE IT!

  • I can tell.

I am a quarter Japanese and I HATE root beer. It tastes like something artificial and something weird. I don't know.

  • that dude is TALL

  • Where did you get root beer @_@ I really want some! And of course Naoya likes it.

  • I love rootbeer.

Taste like a Muhi soda.(Muhi is traditional Insect repellent spray)

  • This video was adorable! Hmm... now I'm curious to find out if my friend in Japan has ever tried root beer... ^_^ hehehe... >: )

  • I live in the u.s. and I never got into root beer at the beggining, but after living here for almost 10 yrs, I got used to it and kind a like it. and I'm a japanese.

  • 20 million japs eat their own shit

  • ルートビアはサロンパスの味がする

  • . . . Japan has such a bloody cruel history I don't know why anyone would want to go there. It's probably because of all this anime propaganda.

  • @SanguineBullet667 Yes, because all other countries have remained in peaceful bliss throughout all history! Europe had nothing to do with the World Wars. The Holocaust never happened. America never dropped any nuclear bombs. Nothing bad ever happened in Vietnam. African governments have always maintained peace and order. And Native Americans, Aborigines etc have never felt threatened in their own countries...

The whole world is just as bad as each other really. Japan is just one of many.

  • @ATKillZ Apparently you know nothing about the Bataan Death March (My great grandfather was killed during this march) or the Japanese scientists conducting biological experiments on native Chinese villagers. Over 35 million were massacred by the Japanese during their ruthless invasion of China. The Japanese got what was coming to them.

  • @SanguineBullet667 Yes, I understand that the Japanese did terrible things, and it probably makes things even worse when people hype the Japanese up to be "noble" and "honourable" throughout history when this is not the case. But today's generation had nothing to do with that. But again, a lot of people do go to Japan because of the whole "anime" culture and don't really understand much about Japanese history at all.

  • @ATKillZ I am glad you agree. Although the youth citizens as a whole may seem more passive their government is what worries me. They have not yet officially apologized for any of these atrocities, at least not to the extent they should have. Germany has had this transformation and inter-thought amongst the people and are now a well-like country in Europe with good connections. Japan hasn't yet done this and still denies some of the atrocities committed. We have to learn from history to move on.

  • @ATKillZ one of many? then why does their government keep bringing up shit? they're the ones that keep talking about "well this event never happened. We never did this" when other countries weren't even directly asking them. They forcefully made their people ignorant of their own history. I wonder, do the Western people learn about the Nazi? or the horrible attempts to wipe out the aboriginal in Americas? of course they do, but in japan they don't learn what they did. that's not one of many

  • yeah your home food tastes wierd when u eat somewhere else for a while, canadian food and japanese foods like even eggs to me taste really different

  • @Eyobe1 hi what do you mean by canadian food? sorry its sad lol im from vancouver but even im troubled when im asked that question. (poutine is the only thing that comes to mind)

  • u should try Dr.pepper i want to know if japanese people like it or not.

  • my roommate loves it actualy, but he spent a lot of time in america so maybe his tastes changed

  • @spit0flip

(knows it's 8 months old) In Nico Nico Douga (Japanese website), it seems EVERYONE hated Dr. Pepper. I'm Japanese, and.. I hated (still kind of dislike) Root bears and Dr. Peppers too.

  • @spit0flip Doctor Pepper is Japan's Mountain Dew, it is the drink of choice for hyperactive nerds

  • yeah man, but good friends are good friends anywhere ya go righr?

  • @bobbyjudo haha yeah i saw the vids, u and hiroko are making some great ones, keep em up im really enjoying em, do u live in tokyo?

  • Nah, I'm down in Kyushu. Tokyo's fun though.

  • Bleu Cheese. A Japanese person who ACTUALLY likes Bleu cheese is about as rare as a foreigner who ACTUALLY likes natto.

  • hahahah do u like blue cheese? hahah im not much a fan of it, great vids by the way man, i just started watching yours last night

  • hahaha funny reactions

  • I just thought of something. My friend Eri told me that Japanese people don't eat peanut butter in combination with things. try peanut butter and chocolate. That is about the most delicious things in the world to north americans. I wonder if they'll like it.

  • aahahaha lol, you make the best videos, can't wait to see more

  • hahah thanks so much, more to come real soon!! like the Grand Sumo tournament in Japan! Stay tuned!!!

  • awesome!! when is that?

  • ill be making it this weekend so early next week!

  • rgrwilco = wilson =)

your next epic one should be making them try canadian / states beer, budweiser, bud light your know the works =)

  • @rgrwilco hahaha got any ideas for the next epic one?

  • man i seem to not be able to contact you but i watched most of all your videos that you do put up haha so im quite happy that your happy since your happy im happy ! so ill come visit you with a butt load of rootbeer hah

  • I thought the same thing when I drunk it for the first time. It tastes like Saronpasu!

Many Okinawan people love it, though.

  • @aabab24 hahah its deliciouse tho! ganbatte the next time you try to drink it

  • lets be fair. A&W sucks.... Now Barqs is rootbeer of champions!

  • hahaha watta ya mean baeqs has bite? johnny?

  • I dunno just sayin' stuff XD

  • hahah you dont remember that commercial,? search up,

What do you mean barqs has bite

  • Haha! I had never heard that before! xD

It makes sense though, it has a really robust syrupy flavor.

Hmmm... other ideas... uhhh... peanut butter and jelly sandwich (I heard japanese pb is more like a smooth peanut spread), a cuban sandwich, or twizzlers? I heard those are hard to find in Japan...

  • Cool vid! I love root beer!

  • Hahah thanks, i wish most japanese people enjoyed our great taste hahah

actualy my friend today had a root beer in his lunch so maybe more japanese people like it after all

  • Naw i cant get down with the root beer either its not disgusting or anything but no thanks

  • Yeah I already heard that they don't like the root beer taste because it's the taste that the syrup company choose. It's like we would have a drink that taste the same thing as the cherry syrup.

Hey by the way, didn't you came back to Canada? I'm so envious of you !

  • I came back for the summer, but im still kicking in Japan for a bit , they think it tastes like a cold compress pack or something like that, wierd eh?

  • How is school there ? I heard that some had a great experience and others a total nightmare lol. Seem to vary from area or how you manage to blend in. Its a shame that I didn't tough about the student exchange when I was at school... I hope I will be able to go to Japan for 3 or 4 weeks in two years but it's really expensive as a lonely tourist...

  • it all depends on where you go, and your personality. IF you're someone that isn't very active, and sits around inside the house all day(I mean actually content with this which is very normal for a lot of Americans). Then I think JApan isn't for them... I stayed @ APU in Beppu though. IT was different but at the same time the same. Those that stayed and hung around the dorms started to bitch more and more. While me and like 18 other people left the dorms A LOT. I mean like not living there

  • yea, rootbeer is a really strong taste. IT isn't very popular anywhere outside of N. America

  • @lordblazer I wonder what other places in the world think about it then. hahah like china or india

  • China.... I think its kinda popular in China, but I've only been on the coastline in china soo its really americanized there except for HongKong which still has its British influence. Macau portguese... hmmm dunno. Though you can get it easier in China than Japan

  • A&W Cream soda? Just don't let em see the label.

Maybe try some Barq's root beer if you can find it? Has a hint of spice flavor in it.

  • Does it have spice? I never knew that hahah

  • I think it does, but then I like A&W brand and that's what I've always had as a first choice.

  • I prefer vodka. Personally. :D great vid;D

  • Hahah thanks, maybe vodka root beer is in order then haha

  • haha wow I never thought they would universally hate it that much. Make them try root beer floats!

  • I want a root beer float now hahaha i miss those

  • I'm German and I HATE Root beer! I hate its taste, I hate its smell, I hate the damn can it comes in! lol.

  • ???? Really, thats too bad, i think its the best drink ever, what do u like then?

  • I really like Dr. Pepper, and Pepsi.

  • Wow! That was interesting. I love Root Beer and hate Natto. I never thought that the Japanese would hate Root Beer. I'm going to see what our R.A.s think.

  • I never thought anyone could hate natto eh? its too deliciouse, haha let me know what your RA thinks haha

  • thanks...hiro nakamura in flannel

  • hahahah haah nice nice

  • Never thought of doing crazy shit like this, Only you Eyobe.

    日本を慕うんだ。何よりも帰りたいだ。

  • @liquidtrance1 haah, more crazyness to come, what should i try next?

  • Try dill pickles!!! Almost universally hated in my experience

  • @fatblueman hahah that would be great haha where can i find em in nagoya??

  • @Eyobe1 Lots of the import shops have them. Like at AEON Atsuta shopping centre they've got them at the Kaldi Coffee Company.

  • @fatblueman Hahah ok, I'll give it a shot hahah experiment #2 is decided!!! haha thanks!

  • Nice!

Now have them compare root beer to melon soda!

  • @AndySan Hahah they all love melon soda hahah

  • Lol!

I just wish they had melon soda in Ohio!

  • grapes the fruit sorry it is midnight ..

  • @bukshotaz do you mean grapefruit? they have that here haha rootbeer isnt a common drink in japan at all but they have grapefuit juice

  • root beer is soo good..

but it's like the same thing in america..

i hate the taste of grape and grape popsicles.

i think its cus when americans are kids all flu meds are grape flavor :(

i love grape on the other hand i don't know good video :P ~~

  • @bukshotaz I love grape too haha its sooo good
