Interesting how I read the critics say Suis dumbed down in all departments for this and previous albums. I guess just because it went back to punk and dropped the metal down a few notches. There are some great tracks on Freedumb and was a welcome return to their more punk routes, not that the Sony/Epic stuff was bad (Rebellion still my fave album !) but this was just a WOW, did I just hear that moment!

I find that I get down with Suicidal's heavier albums such as SUICIDAL 4 LIFE, and HOW WILL I LAUGH TOMMOROW. Nonetheless every album is bassicaly pretty good.

What do you mean? They formed in '81 and were considered a Hard-Core Punk band. Debut album was in '83. In '87 they released Join The Army... considered Cross Over Thrash. It was their "most metal" album IMO. Anyway, Freedumb came out in '99. Since '87 they have had a good mix of punk, metal, and funk in their music.
