The acting and happiness that is in this scene all wrapped up within the music. Added to the quote really makes this scene one of the best out of the film and really makes you feel for the characters. I watched the bonus features and it talked about this scene was just thrown into the movie. Because they just happened to be there without knowing there was going to be a parade.
I believe that was the best part of the film. A moment of bleeding heart romance. I think Kirsten was sexy and powerful in this role. Much similar to her role in the Virgin Suicides.

The confidence will be enough for you to be a better judge of character and patience in your decision. This is called enlightenment and no other person can give you that. You must obtain it yourself.
