Seems to work great, how does it react to long slopes? The old one had a lot of difficulty getting up on steep slopes that took more than a few seconds to climb.
@TLXNA There should be no fundamental oddities with being able to walk up slopes which are less steep than the defined maximum slope. The character walks with a constant speed in a direction perpendicular to the surface normal.
In the too-steep case, the new character has two behaviors: if the transition from walkable to too-steep is smooth, it will configurably slide up and back down. If it's a hard switch, the character just stops (like in the video).
