This is great that they support their polynesian heritage but it would be better if they embraced the Hawaiian side of that seeing as to how they are university of hawaii...not sayin g that its not good but hey wouldn't hurt to embrace their home lands heritage
shut the hell up....i mean if you knew anything you would know that hawaiians are polynesians, so they are embracing the hawaiian side. poly is a poly. i mean most of them aren't hawaiian anyways, they may be from hawaii but not hawaiian...maybe samoan or tongan.
do you realize that Hawaiians have their own version of the Haka as does every other Polynesian culture out there? besides there are a lot of Maori's who do go to UH.
Thank you...Polynesia includes Hawaii-and yes, NZ-Tonga, Samoa, etc...people claiming to be this or that need to look at their own history and culture before they speak up...the native language is even pretty much the same all over Polynesia...look at a map and read a history book folks before you claim to be of one culture or another...or that someone is copying your traditions and such...
